OOTD: Share Your Looks!

That is one of the kinds of skirts I want to get! I originally put a flapper-ish tiered black skirt on, but it looked strange. My goal is to get some flared high-waisted skirts to go with cropped and tucked in fitted tops.

No cream socks, yet. Or a long necklace. Or literally any jewelry of any kind.

Tried to dress up fancy for Thai food on the couch, but took this off after the photo because the bust is painfully tight now.

The shoes were also uncomfortable.

Assuming I can wear this dress in the future, how style? Warm weather shoes, winter shoes/tights/coat? Cleave cover-up without a boring cami?

Want to look cool, fun, with a little edge, not like I’m going to happy hour drinks with coworkers.

This is asking for a leather jacket imo!

I see that fabric as more spring/summer, but you could probably push it through fall with a black leather jacket and leather boots that hit just under the knee! For spring I’d do a flat or wedged sandal (black) maybe with some visual interest in the front. But also if it’s too tight in the bust I’d just toss it. I never end up wearing things that are too tight there because it’s uncomfortable.

That’s a killer dress. I would do cami and some killer chunky necklace in a bright colour. Agree that a black leather jacket would be great. For warmer weather, maybe a slouchy loose knit cardigan to give more cool than prim (a lá traditional cardi).

You could wear basically any shoe with this. Even chucks with a jean jacket would be cool casual day look.

Thanks folks! I’m trying to avoid buying more black clothing, but I do want either a caramel faux-leather jacket or a denim jacket. Nineties baybeee!

My weight fluctuates a lot, so I’m hoping this will fit again. I’ve gotten rid of almost everything else that doesn’t currently fit, but I really like this dress.

Today’s outfit, V1. Pulled the dress out of the donate pile so I had something to layer, and I like the jacket but it’s too small.

V2, after stopping in a thrift store.

The long line of the coat in the second photo makes you look so tall!

Thaaaank you everyone! I feel like it’s a vibe, and I have never had a vibe in my life. (Heh.) My recent fashion influencer browsing is changing my mindset around what is possible. Like, not everything needs to accentuate my figure. WILD.

Taking this to its logical extreme…

Peanut butter giant fuzzy hoodie time!

I wanted to replace my random, broken hoodies with something else, and this is sooo comfortable. Basically I want to be able to fall asleep on the couch, then go to the grocery store without it being obvious that I’m wearing pajamas.

I bought the skirt at Buffalo exchange yesterday and wore it back there today as I bought Her Fuzziness. Did the best with what I had, but definitely the wrong footwear.

I feel like some of these outfits would fit in well at r/oldhagfashion (that’s a compliment).

Thanks @crow! And @Clare-Dragonfly , I was… not feeling complimented until I checked it out on reddit. :joy:

Today I am lounging in style because these fleece-lined jeggings arrived. GAME CHANGER.

With a super soft top from BuffaloX (originally from here), and a new sports bra. My tatas have never felt so lofty. (The wrong size, but close! Going to try some on in person this week.)

You could throw a necklace or scarf over that with some boots and you’d have a great outfit outfit

Do you want to e-shop necklaces for me? Ideally secondhand, but new could be helpful to see what styles to look for while thrifting.

That’s a great cut and color on you (great bra too), proportions are just right. The jacket in V2 that I mentioned I liked? If you had something like that in grey or navy it would look fantastic with this.

Even in it’s current colour, the long jacket/coat looks like it should work. I think it’s just enough colour difference to balance.

What type of jewelry are you attracted to? Delicate, streamlined pieces? Chunky, bright colours? Traditional metals and gems or more costume jewelry in wood and clay and resin?
