Those socks are adorable! Good choice.

I’m impressed with the fact that you are wearing jeans and amused at how bundled up you are as a Floridian

I took the scarf off after the picture. I’m still wearing the hat. The sweater is actually really thin, I wish it was as warm and fuzzy as it looks. The thermostat behind me says it’s 67F. My hands aren’t totally cold like ice but are definitely on the cool side. I’m too well adapted to living here.

This is why Mr. Meer and I joke that if we ever move where there’s proper snow the odds of me surviving the first winter are really low.

Hahaha your body would adapt! Slowly but surely.

But at what cost? What cost?

Florida has elected not to participate in winter this year.

I love this dress so much! Maybe my favorite you’ve ever posted (and I like them all lol).

Kiddo is rocking his pajamas. Dinosaur Christmas shirt, rainbow heart pants from Primary (second pair we’ve had, needed a bigger size as he grew), and rainbow socks.

He is so rad. What stylish lil man

Also can I say how happy I am that my son’s generation of boys can just live their lives liking what they like?

Last week I bought my kid rainbow pajamas because he loves big bright colors and moon pajamas because he loves moons. I felt so good and happy that he would have such cozy pretty clothes to wear and he has them on tonight and LOVES THEM.

I noticed on opening that they are labelled “girls” by Amazon. 🤦 Seriously guys who gives a shit!

Yes!

Only difference is that I size up if it’s in the "girls* section. I just bought him many shorts in current and next size up because they are the softest and most elasticated.

Haha I did notice that the tops were a little tighter, so i will keep it in mind!

Meanwhile, my daughter went to the library in a shirt covered in construction vehicles, fuzzy grey pants with cats on the knees, a jean jacket, and rain boots. She likes to point to her shirt and yell “ECC-Ca-VAY-or” (excavator). I’m thrilled to dispense with gender norm BS for their clothes, it’s a delight.

This is a screenshot of my own IG story because I deleted the original photo.
Deal with it.
Sometimes on eBay if a seller has “make an offer” enabled I just try a pretty low price just to see… this is the first time it’s worked out this fabulously

Day 0 of trying to have some semblance of “personal” “style”. I present to you: The Coward’s Crop Top.

Literally the first time ever wearing a crop top, but it’s 45F, and I can’t have an actually bare midriff. I also just went to the grocery store, so it’s still better than what I normally wear.

I learned today that I have no stylish winter clothing.

I think this is a clever way to wear a crop top.

What shoes did you wear with it?

Muddy black snow boots. I also have zero stylish shoes for any weather.

It might be cute if you have some cream/beige socks that could peek out of the top of your snow boots to pick up on the cream of the crop top. I would also layer on a long necklace, to add some verticals to the outfit.

Oh! A black skater skirt would look super cute with that top. You could just wear it over the leggings for maximum warmth.
