My nine-year-old loves his KiwiCrates! They are actually really cool, at least for bigger kids. He makes the neatest stuff!
So…
I’m currently YEARNING for a drum set.
I took drum lessons in my 20’s for about two years & owned a drum set.
Never got good or really even average/tolerable, BUT it’s the only instrument I’ve ever felt a slight natural ability to play/understand.
Then I stumbled upon this kids Instagram the other day and now I CANNOT STOP WANTING DRUMS AGAIN.
Ooh so pretty. I should set up my test tube planter.
Oooooooh!
Could I mom in these boots? Kneel down if I need to and stuff? I do actually want to get some boots (proper boots, not ankle boots or booties nonsense) which is why I was looking in the first place but I need practical boots, especially since we only have boots weather here like two months a year.
I don’t see why you couldn’t. Those are nice.
I want to have holiday lights permanently attached to my house, and on an indoor switch. This is the very silliest thing to spend money on but I still want it.
I’m a big fan of outdoor holiday lights, because early sunsets mess up my internal clock really bad. I heartily endorse this object of desire.
I don’t want to even get a quote because then I might do it. There are so many high cost, high priority things going on right now. Bling on the house is not on the list.
A nested set of stainless lunch type boxes for kid #1 to replace the plastic ones she currently has. The lids have never fitted since their first run through the microwave.
Biggest one needs to fit a sandwich. So ideally a square shape approx 120mm square.
Current set.
I do know I can get an Ever Eco single rectangular shaped unit with a moveable internal divide that could be used for sandwich on one side and a snack on the other.
Y’all. I don’t know what to say about this one. I dislike nic nacs. I own very few nic nacs.
I saw this at the salvage store like two weeks ago and can’t stop thinking about it.
Why.
It’s very silly.
A few weeks ago at a thrift store I saw a sculpture maybe a foot long and a few inches high of two trains crashing into each other head on. I almost bought it just because I was so confused about why anyone would make it and also fascinated by it. It would have been a great white elephant gift but I haven’t been invited to one in a long time so there was no justification for getting it.
Instant Pot are now available in ANZ!
Ooooooh tempting!
IKR? Means I can finally understand what’s going on when all our American friends post recipes using their Instant Pot.
We don’t have a slow cooker or a pressure cooker. Maybe I need whatever an instant pot is?
maybe someone they love passed away in a train accident and they did it as art therapy? They left it behind in a move and their former roommate donated it?
There was probably a hidden compartment with a note explaining exactly that.
It does both, so yes.
