Don’t you have another baby shower coming up?
Hahaha I sincerely doubt anyone wants to buy me a $200 coffee maker people go in much more for adorable tiny baby clothes.
And amazon doesn’t even count it for the registry completion discount! I absolutely think that caffeine delivery systems should count for baby prep
A bike trailer for hounds and groceries:
I modified a used Burley for dog hauling by putting a plywood base in. I don’t remember what all I did aside from installing an eyebolt to clip him in, but it worked really well compared to the regular trailer setup.
Leather couches.
I’m just going to leave these here…do with this information what you will. (I’ll be ordering them for my desk at work…and maybe some for home).
They are SOOO on trend right now.
I want a bunch of exercise equipment so I can work out at home.
I want someone to come tidy my room so there is space to work out at home.
I want to renovate my main floor so I can have an accessible home.
I want geothermal climate control in my house.
I want solar panels on my house.
I want to turn the basement and part of the upstairs into semi-separate suites so my kids can live here as adults but we can have our own spaces.
Everything on this list will cost at least 100k. So I guess I want 100k+.
oh, those are so cool- we had one in my primary school!
I think one of my kittens would love to live in a sweater pouch for at least a few hours a day. My husband sent me the link to this and I told him he’s responsible for making sure someone gets me one for Christmas. Maybe two for when one’s in the wash.
So i’m on day 5 of not really having the use of my left leg. It will recover, but this is a thing that happens every couple of months. Most mobility aids are useless because of my hands, but there are some $275 crutches that use the elbow instead of the hand. (that’s 500 less than they used to cost)
It’s a ton of money. I would use them for a week every couple of months, and eventually more often because fucking degenerative disorder.
Please advise.
I have $$$ studded tires for a bike I only ride about ten times each winter. But those rides would be impossible without them.
My vote is spend the money.
Obviously I’m not a doctor, but it seems like you have your answer here- please get them!!
+1 this is my vote too.
That is not very much money in the grand scheme of things for being able to walk more comfortably in the rough times.
Do it. At a week every couple of months, that’s a month back that you get every year. A month is worth $275.
I went to therapy this morning and talked about the non-rational reasons I’m resisting buying crutches. I will order them when I get home.
Rain chains to direct the flow from my gutters and make pretty noises.
I have this shirt in black. A few years old. Very flattering.
ThredUp has them in white, grey, orchid, and several blues. Also a similar cut with a regular hem in purple and red.
I want them ALL. But can only justify 2-3, I think…
When we started the basement apartment project, I had a wishlist of stuff like towel warmer (because otherwise towels get mildewed if you don’t hang them out properly) and a vent in the kitchenette.
But everything is like $1000 each and we’re using the downstairs as an infrequently used guest space, and more stuff means more stuff that can break down the road, so now I’m not sure about all the extras anymore.
I want a new handheld vacuum cleaner. The primary purpose is to clean up cat litter. Any recommendations?
