I want my front yard and back yard to switch around, then I want a big pool in our new-backyard.
I want our bike to be repaired/maintained without any work done by me (I know nothing about bike repair, I could probably do it but I’m starting from scratch and have very little spare time) and a trailer for kiddo to ride in.
Soy milk for making tofu. Because my blender is an inexpensive Black & Decker that I had to run the beans through 2x to get it to actually blend them fully. And worse, standing over the stove stiring the milk to cook it and make sure it didn’t foam over was a butt. But I love the tofu. Why did you get rid of it?
Ok then it’s perfect. I used to make my own soy milk with it and it was perfect for that, but it’s generally a pain to clean, so I wouldn’t recommend it over a blender for any other reason.
Only got rid of it because we stopped drinking so much soy milk. We now drink it just occasionally, so doesn’t make sense to make it.
I want a fancy micro-adjustable sit-stand desk that goes low enough for my short af self, and multiple fancy micro-adjustable monitors. I used to have this type of setup at my old work and my body felt soooo much better with it.
As the weather warms up, I think I want an Instant Pot so that I don’t need to run the oven when low&slow meat comes on sale. But do I want a 3qt or a 6qt? It appears that the 6qt requires at least 2 cups of liquid in it, which would mean that I couldn’t do rice in it, but a 3qt seems very small.
A coworker gave me a gift certificate for amazon as a going away present, so I can get this or a heating pad for my knee with less guilt.
You’re right. Looking on the website I’ve found "After considerable experimentation, the experts in our Instant Pot test kitchen consider the minimum liquid amounts to be ½ cup for a mini (3 Quart), 1 cup for a 6 Quart, and 2 cups for an 8 Quart cooker. " So the reddit poster was wrong. Shocking I know
When I make pork chili verde in my instant pot, I put zero liquid in it. I have tomatillos, onions, and peppers in there which sweat out enough to get the unit to work (it’s a 6 quart). Sometimes I have to restart the cycle if it starts counting down, but if I remember and throw 1/2 cup chicken stock in, I’ve never had to do anything extra.
Aw, thanks! Unfortunately the description includes a “hybrid memory foam and leather insole.” I know where to get shoes of that type (such as Vans), I just really liked the aesthetic of the original ones you posted.
Oh dang. Clearly I need more practice at reading details. Apparently they’ve already shipped so at least I can give a verdict on their comfort. I think the wool is only in the insole for their tree range so you may be able to contact them about getting it without the insole and use your own… Or, eh, too much effort.
