You’ll need to declutter and pick up all the kid stuff off the ground. The ‘mopping’ part is usually a bit shit.

To me, cleaning cleaning products is more annoying than just directly cleaning the thing. I would prefer to just use a mop, because then I put the mop head in the washing machine and I’m done with it. But having to take apart fiddly robot fins to remove hair and stinky crap is not my idea of a fun time.

There are ones that promise to clean themselves so all you need to do is empty the dust and dirty water bins periodically and refill with fresh water and detergent. And I guess there are filters to clean occasionally as well like a regular vacuum.
Our kindy purchased one recently and it seems to work as advertised. It was almost $2000 though which is a lot of money on something I’ll probably step on and break

My dd has one of the iRobot ones. They like it,
Because they are not generally given to cleaning.
But you do have to pick everything up from the floor and put the chairs on the table and it takes all day to do the downstairs. It drove me nuts, as I could vacuum and mop and get everything back into place in about 30 minutes.

As an overdress it is even BETTER because you can wear it over other dresses or with top/bottom so it is 
versatile (…I have also been eyeing this one in a different print. The fact it also has pockets is very compelling too)

I have a skirt in this pattern from morningwitch and it’s one of my most worn pieces. Still in great shape years and years later. I get tons of compliments.

I ordered the dress and the site offered me a free bandana with my order. I have been into wearing head kerchiefs lately and I didn’t even know Morningwitch had bandanas! Clearly a sign that I did the right thing.
