“ Natalie has loads of connections on her LinkedIn, with 500+. She listed as a change management consultant at EY. Yes, that’s Ernst & Young, one of the Big Four accounting firms!! EY has revenue of $40billion a year and over 300,000 employees.”
This makes her reaction to Shayne’s 401k comment SO MUCH BETTER.
I mean that’s kinda her parents dynamic it sounded like! That was one way I could see them working, if they copied her parents dynamics and gave her that sense of “home”.
First he said he didn’t even know what a 401k was. The He was like “we can’t just be normal boring people and pay a mortgage and put money in retirement accounts” and she was like WHAT WHY ON EARTH NOT or something to that effect.
My biggest thing with Shake wasn’t that he wasn’t attracted to her- that happens, and I think the self hatred narrative has merit. But it was the shit talking and stringing her along that got me.
Yeah. Deepti says that too. And repeating it and apparently worse to everyone behind her back? Just really gross. It tells a lot that everyone who met him hates him MORE than the audience, but I think they amped up the Shaina story because no one was that mad at her.
One of the things I liked about my brief look at LIB Japan is that it seemed like they would just end the relationship when they weren’t feeling it any more, but the American version seems to push them much more to this big moment at the actual wedding for the DRaMa.
Yeah the fact that the hosts were straight up disgusted with him in the preview for the reunion was a big yikes. I think I’d been giving him some benefit of the doubt? And peoples reactions and poking around IG beef between people makes me be like “if anything he deserves more ire not less, okie dokie then”.
His name dropping as a DJ should have been more of a warning I guess (I say as someone who loves EDM but like… stop name dropping Diplo on your romantic vaca, it’s a weird look)
