Good to know!
Also swooning over the coffee machine!
The bocconcini looks delicious.
The refund robot refunded me and gave me store credit, and I got to keep the overripe mangoes?
I think I’d rather just have cheaper groceries everyday than money thrown at me when there is a problem
I do wonder if the robot’s “generosity” gets abused? What is the threshold for human intervention to stop the robot’s largesse? I had a packet of fresh dog food balls that were spoiled and auto refunded - $7 or so.
Still have to get the receipt from the back of the car and categorize everything.
Eta bonus Bucatini to try after someone shared that article
Ginormous TJs stock up. There were duplicates of a lot of items that I didn’t put out (that chili onion crunch ) Clearly, most of our condiments and snacks come from TJs lol.
We should get like $8 back from Ibotta. $5 on the tequila alone…but the app is currently not working, which is super annoying.
Forgot to set out the 3 dozen eggs we also got.
First time we’ve ever gotten 100% of the order, as ordered, I think
Online click and collect ordering worked well for us last week so we did it again.
4L of sauce because that is who we are now. Garlic was out of stock (what?) so we will need to do a small top up of at least that.
I did pictures of my delivery today. Organic fruits and vegs and other stuff. All for 48,30 Euros
I love to get so minimal package, the two bags contain corn salad and mushrooms.
Yoghourt, canned pineapple and eggs are the only other items packaged.
The green box will be exchanged weekly.
I love the box exchange! We need this in America very badly.
My last grocery pickup I had 6 plastic bags and 2 produce bags it was a tiny trip. There was one item per bag in many cases.
This is happening because it it is basically a farm shop with an additional assortment of organic food. This green boxes are widespread trough farmers and they are sturdy and stackable. As friends of mine owning a farm I was already familiar with this system.
A friend of mine gets his groceries from a major brand delivered and they are using paper bags.
That’s a lot of yogurt. Do you do something with it other than just eat it pain or with a topping of some sort?
Oh, wait. I see now. Two of those are cottage cheese. Never mind!
Haha yes my husband eats TONS of cottage cheese. It’s an easy “grab and shove” food for insane work days and trying to get out the door super early and stuff. We all eat a fair bit of yogurt too.
Have you ever tried adding cottage cheese to your guac (as you young people call it)? Sounds weird, but I like it. Adds a little creaminess and I like the added texture.
Husband is a staunch no-fruit-and-diary fellow I’m sure that would cross the line for him. (Although he puts ketchup on pizza, he has no room to talk). I may try it though!
Cottage cheese on potatoes is yummy.
My favorite go to is cottage cheese with blueberries and lots of herbs and white pepper. Yum yum.
Cottage cheese and doritos is probably going to be my dinner tonight.
