2023 Taxes - havenā€™t even started. However, did do Chuckā€™s 2022 and 2023 taxes?

Outlets - completed the last two GFCIs which are the hardest. Just completed all of the outlets in J2s room

J2s room - This morning we all had a conference in J2s room, and decided what was going to happen with it.

We then installed a shelf for his Lego, and a clothing bar, and got his clothes out of the broom closet where they have been hung since last May.

He then puttered about and hung up all his art etc.

Declaring his room Done!

Edit - turned on the breaker and - no power. Now to troubleshoot

Second edit: kid doesnā€™t need power, right?

We are supposed to check in each week? OOOOPS!

Well, week 1 was no direct progress, so no harm not foul, I guess.

Week 2: Cleaned photos out of phone to make room for new photos of the listing. Today is rainy & gross outside, so good day for photo taking.

Today I loaded up the donation stuff in the car to be dropped off tomorrow on my big errand day. It took 2 minutes because it was sitting in the garage. Isnā€™t that always the case and why we do this challenge? I also loaded up bottles to be returned.

Making progress! We were out of town the first week of December, but this week we went to the DMV and I updated my Costco card. We also met with a potential estate attorney, which is another item to get done.

    Progress as of 12/15:

I have not actually made much progress on any of these things! I also have one to add: locate and eliminate the source of the stench coming from the fridge. I have thrown out old food a bunch of times and still it remains. God help me.

The knitted sweater wonā€™t happen for Wednesday. Iā€™m halfway through the first sleeve, I wonā€™t have time to finish both sleeves+ wash and block. So Iā€™m aiming for finishing the sweater for Christmas Eve.

    • Make appointment with lactation to address clicking

OB doesnā€™t think urogyn is needed - she only refers if surgery is necessary and weā€™re not there - so bye bye to that one.

The wedding script was written and the wedding was held; by all accounts a successful ministerial debut.

    New tasks:

    • Apply for short term disability for January
    • Set up 12 week appointment with OB
    • Submit PT to insurance
    • Submit babyā€™s birth stuff to insurance

Didnā€™t finish as much as last week, but still put in some good work digging up rocks and landscape fabric. Cumulative totals below - removing one item and adding more, lol.

    Done:

    • Finish removing leaves in backyard
    • Finish putting steel wool in old mouse holes. Iā€™ve only procrastinated this for, oh, 8 months :joy:
    • Measure existing backyard garden beds for planning
    • Exterior caulking
    • Get gutter installed on new front porch roof

    Partially Done:

    • Finish digging up rocks and landscape fabric in front yard
    • Dig up rocks and landscape fabric in at least 1 backyard garden bed

    To Do:

    • Sand, prime, and paint new front porch posts (and buy remaining supplies needed). Scheduled for tomorrow, fingers crossed the weather cooperates :crossed_fingers: :crossed_fingers:
    • Attempt to install weatherstripping on small garage door
    • Frame and hang art in my office - Deferring this until January. Iā€™d rather get the more urgent stuff done first, and this will be easier/faster without holiday business closures.
    • Install garage gardening tool rack
    • Actually set up the water leak detector sensor I bought ages ago
    • Touch up paint in bathroom
    • Take photos/videos of inside for insurance
    • Clean cold air return vents
