Little imperfect zinnia with a crown

When our son was born - he turns 25 in a couple of weeks - our lovely neighbour gave us a bearded iris plant, amazingly it has survived. We moved a couple of years ago and my DH insisted we dig up the iris plant and bring it with us. We down-sized to an apartment and don’t have much garden space but we do have a courtyard. DH planted the irises in a pot and lo and behold DS’s Birthday irises are flowering!

Not sure what this is? The shrub was taller than me.
At a butterfly exhibit, this had had four butterflies mobbing it seconds before but I guess they were camera shy. Not sure what this plant is called either.

Yay, spring! I keep forgetting to take a picture of my daffodils.

Redbuds on our hillside.
