I barely have jack shit in assets in comparison to many and I think mine have gone down that much.

I checked off another goal and changed one–I already passed Tom Bombadil in Walk to Mordor, and I meant for that goal to be a bit of a challenge, so I picked Weathertop as a goal that’s much further ahead.

I think the only goal that COVID-19 is affecting is the physical therapist one, and hopefully that’s just being put off until later in the year.

Finish lace scarf Finish glass display Hike 4 times Finish editing book 7 Sew a garment
Mend 3 things from mending pile Finish writing book 14 Organize clothes Make seitan Sew patches on winter coat
Make pizza 4 times Sort & store giveaway baby clothing FREE SPACE Make bread 6 times Get yarn organized and put away
Make bagels 4 times 2 days in a row with no added sugar Refill emergency fund Knit a garment Bike ride 4 times
Read 10 books I owned before 2019 See a physical therapist for feet Touch up paint in house Reach Weathertop Create a filing system

Update: Office closet reorganized (and filled with tomato seedlings).

Still not sure what goals to change related to covid. I think many of the social goals could still happen in the second half of the year. I am changing “monthly” dates to 12 dates total, because a March date night didn’t happen for obvious reasons, and it’s looking unlikely that an April date can happen either.

Got some more ticked off, still undecided on last two re-do goals…

Today I checked off “eat a home-grown salad” with the tiniest least exciting arugula salad ever:

I’m sure that I’ll have bigger better salads as stuff gets to start growing outside, but this counts!

Current bingo board. I could get bingo if I could just put effort into bass for a few weeks… But I don’ wanna.

End of month update:

Got one more thing crossed off (a lot of cooking going on) and made some progress in others. Greyed out items are things that COVID pretty much knocked out my standing plans for since the ski trip was supposed to have been this month and the city trip in mid-April, but I’m not sure if I’m going to replace them yet since I could still do those things later in the year. Plus that category was ‘go somewhere’ so I’m not sure what I’d replace them with at this point .

Summary
  1. Purge 75% of belongings - I started taking inventory of a couple catagories. Shirts 80 (Owned) - 35 (Purged) = 45 (still own) Need to get rid of 25 more!!! what?!? Skirts on the other hand 6 (Owned) - 5 (Purged) = 1 (Still owned) so I’m good in that catagory.

Due to ye olde coronavirus, I’ve replaced student loan payoff with making an afghan for my pregnant cousin; completing the Candidate year with therapy; and have reduced the number of tax advantaged accounts I’m trying to max. I’m still aiming for a 50% savings rate because why not try, though I think it’s very unlikely.

I’m making decent pace on many of these things, at least! Especially the reading goals. And driving less is actually a lot easier with the quarantine…

And yet so far away. I can hold crow for about 10 to 15 seconds.

Slow going, but I’m going! All of the garden ones are in progress. A couple won’t happen until after the shutdown ends, but I’m fairly confident still that they can happen before the end of the year.

Congratulations.

Some of mine are year long, a few others stymied by the pandemic.
