I cannot take credit, I found the receipe on Pinterest years ago

I think Scrubbing Bubbles is the best tub cleaner, but it’s made by Dow and I feel bad whenever I give in to the temptation to buy it.

Any recommendations for plus size tights? I really do prefer dresses and I’d love to make them last farther this winter.

I’ve liked snag tights, but I don’t wear tights a ton so I don’t know how they hold up to frequent use.

The sizing is as advertised (wider) and they are reasonably cheap so just get backups. I have laddered one pair out of 4. I’ve also found them a bit baggy after some wear, so chart may be off slightly (or I was in the line and sized up?)

Sheertex seem very durable (I haven’t like, put a saw blade inside or anything :joy:) if they fit. The chart-assigned size seems OK (sz 16-18), doesn’t overstretch around the thighs.

I have a plus-size coworker who looks super cute in Snag tights all winter. I have some but haven’t had as many chances to wear them. I am straight size and very short and the size guide didn’t really get how VERY short I am so the first ones I got were kinda big.

I loved the Merona opaque tights at Target before I needed bigger sizes . Also sheertex is having a $35 sale more often than not lately and they do seem more resilient than any other tights I have worn :woman_shrugging: not a whole lot of fun patterns though.

Thank you for the tights recommendations! I think I’ll try snag and sheertex!

Did you end up with tights that fit? I haven’t tried Snag yet, but I think I’m only an inch or two taller than you (and straight size) and always have trouble with tights being way too long.

I actually haven’t tried them on yet. I got pregnant right when they sent them and then it hasn’t been tights season! I will try to remember to let you know how they go. I don’t even remember if the ones that were too big were size D or C! But even the too-big ones were wearable.

Lol this happened to me too with the last snag tights I got.

Suggestions for storage racks in storage spaces?

I’m thinking the metal ones that can hold a lot of weight from costco for ~$200 each. Idk if this is the best solution for our space.

Needs: holds probably at least 500# (planning for food and appliance storage, cans weight a lot!), under 8’ tall, long lasting.

Idk if this is really a need, I just really don’t like our current setup and watching YouTube decluttering videos makes me envious of a more organized storage space.

I adore the giant ones from Costco. They’ve served us very well, and my brother even used them in his first 3 shops for inventory- they’re hearty AF. Husband also uses them in our garage for all his work gear. We’ve never managed to break any component of any of them, including many moves and a fork lift incident with one of my brothers employees.

These ones-

ETA they also perfectly fit the black and yellow bins you can get at Costco/Home Depot/lowes.

I got a Trinity brand one after reading all the reviews and so many were like “my old rack of this brand was great but I recently got another one and it’s not the same quality”. Trinity was a little more expensive but only had good reviews. I’m very happy with the rack! It’s heavy duty and perfect for the garage.

This is the one I got (it’s now cheaper than when I got it!):

I have a very similar one to this one except mine has 5 shelves I think? I keep appliances, food, all sorts of stuff on it and it’s very sturdy. https://www.costco.com/trinity-ecostorage-4-tier-wire-shelving-rack-with-wheels%2C-48"-x-18"-x-72"-%2C-nsf%2C-chrome-color.product.11539176.html

If I wanted to spend the money though, I’d definitely get the ones @Bracken_Joy recommended because my parents have them and they are definitely more BIFL and sturdy.

We also have the wire ones - we bought some more to fit the current garage at Home Depot, but have bought some previously at Target. Those are at least 20 years old and have been moved multiple times, so they are plenty sturdy.

We also have some wooden ones that I honestly can’t remember where we bought them. Maybe Lowes? Also very sturdy.

It’s worth noting the Whalen come on sale at Costco at least once per year! Down to $199 last time I bought them I believe. (But they were base price $249 then)

I got a trinity rack for our food and will be getting a Whalen one for a different area! We wanted the wires closer together and the wheels for our food storage!

The Whalen shelves are $219 in store, a lot cheaper than the online price.

The trinity 6 shelf was $119. I think the delivery fees on the Costco website inflated the prices.

Does anyone have a bath towel they love? We’ve been using the Target Threshold towels and they’re…fine. But they’re about 10 years old now and replacing them will be on my Christmas list this year. I’d like something large (willing to do a bath sheet) and soft.
