I always either have far too many, overflowing the drawer, or Not Nearly Enough, and there is no in between. I am mystified.

Instead of rehoming any containers (I don’t have that many) I removed two drawers from the fridge. Now I have to figure out where to store them in the garage.

Where do I buy good quality, simple cardigans? Mid-weight kind of layering for the office. Soft and NORMAL SHOULDERS for christsake.

Do you have a Costco membership? They have some really great ones right now.

I have a lands’ end cardigan like this! Crew neck with regular shoulders. I find their clothing is not trendy in a good way.

I have a bunch of Lands End cotton cardigans, all from the thrift store. They hold up really well!

Heck yes. Not trendy is exactly what I need. Real workhorse clothing. Thanks!

Quince? Their cashmere and merino pill a fair bit/a lot but their cotton is nice ans heavy weight. They have a lighter cotton/cashmere blend that I haven’t tried

I’ve given up on cardigans and live in zip hoodies when the weather gets colder. Is that not office appropriate? I used to like the cashmere cardigans from Uniqlo, when I wore them.

I NEED those produce keepers. Right now, we’re washing a big colander of fruit & shoving the whole colander into the fridge on top of a bowl or plate. And I’m wasting a bunch of gallon-size ziplocks for washed salad. I just bought more freezer storage containers, so I may be officially going overboard with food storage containers.

It could be at some offices! But I am looking for cardigans

I keep wondering about quince and hearing not great things…

I like eating quince paste on top of manchego. Am I in the wrong thread? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I have a possibly unhealthy obsession with cardigans and have them from Target, Costco, Old Navy, Nordstrom rack, and Banana Republic (not to mention a few from random brands through ThredUp). Are you having trouble finding something that suits you, or just starting to look and seeking advice for what holds up?

Personally I’ve found 100% cotton to lose shape and keep more Merino around. Some cotton for summer though. But Merino shrinks if machine washed (even if advertised as machine washable) so… can’t win

I have been wearing my 2 bamboo cardigans from Kyte Baby (they make a few adult things) a lot. They’re on the longer side and have two pockets, and look good after a couple months of spit-up and frequent washing.

If you’re expecting like nice nice things it’s not great. It’s like current Gap quality.

I have two pairs of black linen pants that I wore almost every day last summer that are still in good condition, just a little faded. The cashmere sweaters are soft and warm but also lightweight which I think makes them more versatile than the heavier weight you’d get from a higher quality place, they eventually pill but that’s about what I expect from $50 cashmere ( gosh that sentence makes me sound bougie). I have a sweater shaver and am not afraid to use it so they are good for me. I don’t think I would get one of the more expensive cashmere sweaters. I have no complaints about the cotton fisherman’s sweater. A tiny bit of fading but not really noticeable and I wash and dry my clothes a lot.

Heartily endorse manchego and quince paste!

They’re on sale now! Started 3 days after I asked my friend to order them :frowning:

She can do a price adjustment. Costco is boss at that.

It’s a manufacturer’s coupon… not sure I want to bother him about it. If I was the one to make the phone call I would :joy:
