Don’t tell me what to do!
I’m just gonna put links to the Amazon ones I’ve personally bought and loved. Most don’t have shoulder coverage, but you could see if the sellers have ones that fit what you are looking for.

Fresh new kitchen! I can pick the size! Benchtops does not exist yet.
I second the VIISHOW brand ones. I’ve had mine for like 3 years.
The brand name cracked me up.
Um, makeup? Very basic makeup. A light foundation, lip color of some sort, and some kind of eye thing? Either a very lightweight mascara, or liner/shadow? Also how do I know what to get? I haven’t worn makeup in a decade, and even then I wasn’t great at it. I know there are face experts here though.
I really like ILIA brand for makeup. Nice packaging, good color ranges, and things come in mini sizes if you don’t wear it much.
I hate to say it, but going into an Ulta is really handy for picking colors and stuff.
Facts. I love an ULTA.
I’d start with liner, mascara, and brow pencil if I were you. Those items are affordable (because brand matters less than with other things), don’t require additional brushes, and will give you a chance to see if you’re really going to use makeup regularly or not.
I recommend Sephora store brand for brow liner and eye liner. For eye liner I would get a pencil style and a liquid eyeliner, both in brown (medium brown if they have it) for your coloring. For eyebrows I would get a brown brow pencil (Sephora brand). For mascara you can go even cheaper; I like Great Lash from the drug store, again I think brown would be best for you.
I’d play with that! You can create a lot of looks with just liner, mascara, and brow filler (plus all the fun of brow shaping, I’d get good tweezers if you don’t have any). If you find you’re wearing those items a lot then you can add some eye shadow and concealer (I like bobbi brown for both and il makiage for just concealer) and maybe lip stuff, like a lip pencil and a lipstick or gloss (I like Milani, drug store brand, and Kosas, fancy brand).
If you’re using all of that regularly then I’d go for a foundation and highlighter/blush and all the brushes and stuff.
Induction! I am obsessed!
I have a Bosch induction range (Standard American width, 30in I think?), it is good at the thing, no major complaints. I love it honestly.
My only complaint is that most induction stoves/cooktops these days have a touch button interface, which I’ve gotten used to but is not my favorite. If there is an opportunity to have a dial to control the cooktop, do consider it. When I was shopping, Samsung was the only one offering a dial and it was weird and I wasn’t as convinced about their reputation as an appliance brand. If I had to buy one again, I would consider it much more seriously as that is my only real complaint about the Bosch.
For size considerations, the main issue I’ve seen is that nobody wants to put the 4 burners in a square pattern anymore, so pan size is more of an issue with the smaller distance between some burners. My friend has the wider cooktop and it is easier/feels less crowded to have the larger space for all the pot handles and whatever. Eta: Also things like to you want the biggest burner at the back so it’s out of the way for long simmers, or so you want it at the front for easier reach for stirring.
Edit: so many typos
Yes, dials was our main requirement beyond induction
we MUCH prefer it.
That was very smart of you!!! #noregrets because everything else about it is amazing, but if/when I ever have to buy another stove I would /will prioritize the dial!
Credit due to the husband. For an electrical engineer, he sure loves analogue touches.
It’s like having buttons in cars! I can do the thing without looking, so I can keep an eye on the pot/possible disaster instead of having to carefully poke at the temp controls.
yes he loves real buttons in cars, especially for HVAC. I suppose I prefer that as well although I’m not as strongly opinionated on it.
YES! I love my 2019 Mazda for that. The screen isn’t even a touchscreen. Had to figure out how it all worked, because two dials are actually also joysticks. Once I realized that it made so much more sense!
I looked and our induction with knobs is a Kenmore elite. I think it’s a 2017? We bought it used.
Our induction range is GE and it’s not dials but it is a lot more intuitive and dial like than other touch ones we’ve seen and works really well
Valentine’s basic Friskies pate variety pack is out of stock and now I feel like I should buy him something nicer. I would prefer it’s not seafood based (because it smells bad), and if anyone has done sustainability research on cat wet food I would love to hear your thoughts!
