My kid keeps breaking spatulas / flippers. He uses them to stir giant pots of rice & beans and eventually the handle snaps. Does anyone have a high quality spatula that is nonstick pan safe?

For nonstick, I would use wood. I have some that are bamboo and they seem pretty lightweight, but I have one that is hand carved from hardwood and that will not be snapping. I also have a wooden ladle.

For not nonstick, I’d get a metal one from a commercial kitchen supply place.

I also like bamboo for this! They are not good for flipping things so that needs to be a different tool usually IME

I should have mentioned, dishwasher safe is a core requirement. If kid has to handwash something he won’t use it.

I’ve used Get It Right silicone spatulas/flippers and have found them to be high-quality so far: Amazon.com: GIR: Get It Right: Flip

Granted, I don’t know how massive these pots are that he’s stirring, but maybe worth looking into? I do like they’re one piece and so no crevices to catch nastiness

I am dishwashering all of my wood and bamboo right now, including third generation wood. It’s fine. Only one broke.

I dishwasher my wood spoons most of the time. They can be replaced as needed but it’s not that often.

I have 2 bamboo spatulas - basically flat edge spoons, not for flipping - and have been using daily and washing in dishwasher for 20+ years. No problems whatsoever.

If he’s putting nonstick pans in the dishwasher, they’ll need replacing before the bamboo spatula does!

I would like underwear that won’t fall apart quickly and is stretchy enough to fit between size 18-20. I usually wear bikini style. Seams along the butt crack are no good, seams in general are often annoying 6. I usually just buy Amazon basics or something that comes in a five pack and looks about right at target but I’m tired of them falling apart fast. Recommendations?

I like Lane Bryant’s cotton underwear - it lasts a long time and there are seasonally different colors/prints if you like variety. The cotton is super soft sensory-wise. They have a bikini cut, but as someone who preferred the bikini cuts in generic 5 packs, I actually like the hipsters cut better from LB. I’m pretty sensitive to where the waistband lands so the wide waistband style folds over easily and sits right where I need it. Their 18/20 is pretty generous so you may actually want to size down.

I searched high and low for undies without seams at the legs. I love these:

I only have 2 of those, but yes. Honestly the regular ones have also been OK for days 8-14. They’re soft. I wore a belly band under them one day to avoid edges directly in the stitches, and get a little extra support.
