I like my kids camelbak eddie
Wizard and I have multiple Yetis and really like them. His can be tossed inside a backpack (twist top), while my magslider tops can be held upside down but I would not toss in a bag. Super easy to open those though.
I have a Zojirushi that I like very much. We actually have an assortment of metal water bottles, all of which seem fine and none of which I would put in the dishwasher.
Have you looked at contigo? They have an interesting lid design. I was going to recommend Thermos for the kid, but sounds like you’ve already tried that!
My friend got me a hydro flask with a twist sippy top, which has a great feature that it comes apart COMPLETELY for cleaning. (Also, many top options for any size bottle
) So. I recommend. Although I use it as a thermos mug.
Secondimg Contigo. I love mine, have been using them for years, and I’m confident enough in them to throw a full one in a bag with a laptop. Never had any issues.
They also have a different than their usual lid design that’s s easier on arthritic hands, so I’m gradually making the transition now. Don’t carry a laptop anymore, so I can’t swear to whether I would throw it in the laptop bag, but I can definitely turn it upside down and shake it hard.
They say that only the lid should go in a dishwasher, but I’ve always thrown both parts of mine in there. They only issue is that some of the color eventually comes off the base if you do that.
Here’s the usual lid design https://www.gocontigo.com/mugs/contigo-byron-2.0-stainless-steel-travel-mug-with-snapseal-lid-and-grip-16oz/SAP_2100871.html
And here’s the one that’s easier on the hands: https://www.gocontigo.com/mugs/contigo-handled-autoseal-stainless-steel-travel-mug-with-easy-clean-lid-16oz/SAP_2074688.html
That new lid design isn’t in Canada yet but it looks perfect for my needs.
I’m a fan of contigo. They last forever and work great.
I could send you one. Though I guess you could maybe get it in Mexico quicker.
We also have one of the easier lid Contigos and it’s been a very good water bottle.
For me, I have a thermos thermos. Like the kind with a little cup on the top. So good. Love it. If I share with the kids they use the little cup and I use the bottle with no gross backwash.
My favourite kids bottle right now is a used kids yeti. The straw part they drink out of is hard plastic instead of silicone and I put a silicone straw for the inside straw. Right now kindergarten prefers the straw style. My favourite lost bottle was a screw top kids one with no straw we used for non school stuff.
An American friend is visiting me in Mexico, I will ask her.

I need an eye makeup remover. I would like it to be cheap but not bad.
Sincerely someone who found out they are serious that it lasts up to 48 hours and is waterproof.
I use cold cream and a hot wash cloth and it’s pretty great. Gets the makeup off and feels soooo good. And Ponds is very cheap if you want a drugstore option.
In an emergency you can use any oil in your kitchen.
Team Yeti here!
I haven’t found much of a difference in different types… But as someone who doesn’t wear eye makeup often I liked the remover that came on little pads the best. (sorry, don’t recall the brand I have or where it is right now
). I’d use those on the mascara/eyeliner and then wash my face to get the oily residue off (and other makeup).
I swear by this stuff (though struggling to figure out if it’s available on US amazon) Amazon.com: Simple Kind to Eyes Eye Makeup Remover, Eye Makeup Remover, 4.2 oz : Beauty & Personal Care
Oil or face lotion then wipe off and was with soap and water and a wash cloth. Baby wipes are great too
I am going to need to buy an infant car seat.
Now that there’s no Babies R Us, and Target and Amazon are off my personal list, I don’t know where to go to actually look at one. I’d kind of like one that fits onto a base, I think?
