The Knix I have are super slippery? It’s very weird. Like my pants fall off my butt if I squat down. Not a fan.
Oh yeah! I have one pair of knix and they are a shorts style. The waistband is mid rise and does slip down under my belly, and they are a slippery synthetic as @Bracken_Joy says, which is really not my fave generally (Thinx Air get away with it being mesh, but still get a bit sweaty in summer). My other issue with knix is the pad is very small, at least on large sizes. Leak central… I do wear those as sleep shorts on lighter flow days. The floral-on-black pattern was super cute so I don’t regret the slightly impractical purchase.
I’m sure their whole line works fine for someone with very different preferences to mine, but I’m with you gals, I won’t be getting more.
I got Saalt ones as an alternative to Thinx and love them. They have a boyshort shape that doesn’t dig in anywhere. (I don’t mind the bikini cut either.) Lots of absorption, thin pad, and very breathable and soft bamboo fabric. Not cheap, but they’ll refund you if you’re not happy or the fit isn’t right, and IMO worth it for repeated use.
I ran out of Nature’s miracle and was grumpy about buying more… and then found out home depot has a brand called odo ban. It worked! And has less awful fragrance than nature’s miracle
Nature’snmiracle $15/spray bottle, 35ish/ big jug
Odoban pet $5.99 spray bottle, $15.99 big jug (double the volume of the nature’s miracle big jug)!
FYI you can also use enzymatic cleaners on stinky human stains
I think I got that too because I happened to be at HD not Target when we ran out of pet cleaner. Worked fine on the one carpet stain so far! (Thank past me for laminate floors!)
Odoban works great but I think it smells terrible.
Does the smell go away when it’s dry, or does it linger?
It does go away eventually, especially if you put the thing you’ve washed outside for a while. And it certainly smells better than cat pee!
This thread has been quiet for quite some time, but here I am to tell you that if you hate how water runs down your arms when you wash your face at the sink () – they make little towel wrist puffs for that.
Just got a bunch of fancy shmancy realistic toy animals for Ravioli from schleich. Tired of the random Amazon ones that are barely recognizable.
Play food is another thing not to skimp on or you get weird size pieces.
Good call! Where do you like to get yours from?
Well, the only good play food I have at the library is from Lakeshore and it’s $$$. Learning Resources also has really good reviews (although still not cheap- like $30-$40 sets). I have only shopped “industrially”!
I don’t love Melissa and Doug play food because kids never actually want to pretend to chop it and it’s too much work putting the pieces back together
Not to mention, I’m super paranoid, especially with play food about what it’s made of. Straight into kid mouths. And my mouth sometimes So some of the weird sketch Amazon brands I really really don’t trust on that especially
Safari Ltd is another source for amazeballs animal toys. I covet the giant whales.
Trader Joe’s Ube Mochi Pancake and Waffle mix. Good stuff! 3.99/box (1 lb I think?)
