I did! I work for my state’s government in a health related agency, and my department had free flu shots offered very early in the season!

I got mine done a couple weeks ago and dragged my needle adverse husband with me too. We spent our $20 in gift cards on halloween candy and regular groceries.

I’m late to the party on commenting bc I just found these forums but got my flu shot in early October and made sure my whole family did too!
A few weeks ago I thought for sure I’d gotten the flu (sudden onset fever and aches and chill, too long after shot to be a reaction) but instead of feeling garbage for a week, I woke up feeling much better and by a couple days out, totally great. Participated in my city’s flu study so I should know soon if that was my body kicking the flu fast due to vaccination or just some other random thing.
Kiddo is sick again. Someday he will be immune to most of the stuff going around daycare, right?

I’ve booked my flu shot for next week. We are getting the little person done too.
Mr Pancakes has to wait because the clinic only has access to government issued vaccines at the moment, none for private patients.
Because I’m pregnant I don’t have to pay for mine
