Finally submitted a couple reports of repair/maintenance needed to the city. I’ve only been trying to organize myself to do this for a couple months.

My niece was notified that her husband’s petition to immigrate was approved! It now moves on to a consulate and he will have an interview. It’s still going to take some months, but at least it’s moving! It’s been 16 months since they filed. Fingers crossed that he’s here by their 2 year anniversary in August.
Honestly I’m kind of shocked that they are even still allowing people in.

Got my work backlog from 101 items to 65 items. A lot of it is just following up to check the thing was done. I used to be much better on follow through, but since my anxiety is down it turnes out that was more emotionally driven‼️
I’m hoping to go part time soon, so its important to have the workload in a place where that is realistic.

Stopped at the store on my way home from work this to grab a couple fruit/vegetable things to have through the weekend and managed to grab about 10 bags of scratch-and-dent peppers for $1/each. Everything else is a mess, but fresh (and some soon-to-be-frozen) peppers, at least.

Just found out that the cc I picked up earlier this year offers a free museum admission the first full weekend of every month. Mostly the ‘local’ museums it offers are about an hour away, but worth it if I’m down that way for other reasons (or want to spend ~$25 on the bus, which might be worth it since I detest the drive and am still annoyed that they’ve had the north/south corridor torn up for years and have still failed to install a rail line)

Found seedless grapes for 0.79 a pound at grocery outlet. Their produce is marginal, but they don’t seal it up in plastic so you can check.

I did 8 loads of laundry today. It was a down comforter, duvet cover, dog blanket, rugs laundry kind of day. My neighbor is out of town and insists I use her washer while she’s gone, so I had double loads going most of the day and almost everything I own is clean!

TV1: Back in December I bought a yard tool that I thought would be very helpful. I didn’t get around to using it right away, but when I did it turned out it was not helpful for my yard, only for already manicured flat lawns. Because it was December life got busy and I realized I eventually missed the 30 day return window. Earlier this week I looked at the store’s actual return policy and it was 90 days, so I returned it just now on day 80ish and also picked up something else that would have been annoying to make a trip just for that one small thing.
TV2: I’m trying to get Kiddo back into private OT and talked to someone about scheduling a while back, they said they’d call me back at some point and I realized I never got a call back. I called yesterday and they said due to one person being out on maternity leave all the other OTs were taking their existing patients so the schedule is extra full right now however there’s a cancellation today and would I like that spot for the one-off intake appointment? Why yes, yes I would.

I overheard one of my employees talking about a tea set she saw at a vintage store recently that she loved but didn’t buy because it was too pricey. I asked a couple questions about what it looked like and she showed me a picture. I left work early, went to the store, and bought the set. She’s getting married this summer and I’m going to save it and give it to her as a gift from the staff. I’m so excited to surprise her with it!
