I bought a “high sided” litter box (12”) a couple of years ago because cat was occasionally peeing up over the side and onto the floor. It’s painted concrete so not the biggest problem but it still needed cleaning and was annoying. She pees with her butt lifted so she’s still peeing over the side, and this morning I was extra annoyed so I just ordered one with 16” high sides. Hopefully less cleaning for me!

I’ve been paying $84.99 a month for internet. I called tonight and got it lowered to $59.99. There are only a couple of providers in my area and they are not the cheaper ones so I am happy with it.

I asked SO casually if he wanted to go out for dinner for Valentine’s Day because I saw dinner being advertised on tv. He is super excited about it?! He doesn’t eat out a lot and I thought it would be a nice treat for him. So now we are going out for dinner tomorrow.

Well I thought we were going to Wendy’s (seriously that’s what he asked for originally), but now I think we are going to a local restaurant down the road. He can still have his cheeseburgers and I can have real food.

A big bag of David’s tea bags I just opened has rips in all the tea bags - couldn’t figure out why I kept getting loose tea in my cup. I reached out to them on chat, sent them a picture and they sent me another big bag. I can use my new Nessie to steep the leaking bags. Yay $35 bonus bag!

SO was using Gorilla glue sealant and it was not coming out through the tip but through the side of the top. He reached out to the company and they told him to return it for a new one at point of purchase and that they would send him something. He returned it and got the money back, and they sent him a $20 prepaid MasterCard for customer satisfaction.

I figured out how to use Spotify on my phone to play through any Alexa speaker in my house. This is tiny because everyone else in my family can do that but I never tried before because it sounded hard. It wasn’t hard. (I could not make Alexa understand with just my voice commands that I wanted the entire album Fearless, Taylor’s Version, not just the song Fearless, Taylor Version. I was annoyed enough to figure it out instead of just giving up and listening to Pandora like always. Thanks, Taylor Swift, for pushing me to try something new!

In true OMD fashion, I am heavily involved with my neighborhood’s Buy Nothing group and it’s been a meaningful source of community for me in my neighborhood. I’ve been a person on the internet for a long time, and the group has had one of the weirder mod transitions I’ve ever seen. I realized it was bad vibes and is not going to get better, so I left. I’ll miss it, but my Tony victor is realizing that I don’t benefit from sticking around for the implosion and drama. Maybe I’ll rejoin in a year or so!
