Cuuuuute! I love a little touch of fancy!
My Tony Victor is that I’m keeping my house a little dirtier than I am comfortable with (as therapy work and to preserve my time differently). It feels a little like a nagging mosquito, BUT I am doing it. This is important. It’s still WAY cleaner than 90% of the homes that I go into, so I’ll be ok.
I’ll be ok… I can do this.
This one may be an Antonio Victor, because it feels decently big to me, but I DONATED BLOOD TODAY! Score one more on the needle-oriented exposure therapy list!
Definitely an Antonio Victor, you SAVED A LIFE! (or several, I forget how the calculation works) Either way it is VERY GOOD.
Tonno got me to uni before 9 today
Our system uses one blood donation to help three people.
I think that’s typical US stats, too. (I think. Don’t quote me.)
My fam has used who-even-knows how many blood products over the years, with various surgeries and emergencies. I have a lot of very grateful blood to give back to the system.
IBaby PDM is on the mend after a rough few days and nights. A few different tiny victories:
- using paid sick leave for two days and having a boss who genuinely encourages you to take as long as needed to recover
- a healthcare system that provides after hours home doctor visits for no cost (doesn’t even require health insurance)
- Morning nap in stroller.
- Baby PDM smashing his lunch of bread, tomato and bbq chook
- Mrs PDM being able to go to work (contractor type private practice thing where you get paid only for patients you see)
My tonno (keeping the Aussie slang alive) today is that I rode my bike into work despite it pouring down. I may not have enjoyed it but I did it. Saving the planet, one wet bike ride at a time!
I want to be carted around town in that stroller. Baby PDM looks so cozy on his sheepskin pillow!
Sheepskin is definitely overkill for our winter. Actually popped into that cafe so he could finish his nap in a cooler spot. 23°C and sunny. #harshwinter
Tony Victor: despite cramps (do not get me started on THAT), I managed to enjoy a bit of the outdoors, eat mostly healthy, low waste food, and do a social thing.
Rather than buy two new big pots I removed two dead blueberry bushes from their pots and planted the Giant Victorious Rhubarb and Jerusalem Artichokes.
Bonus, one of the Jerusalem Artichokes split in half at an obvious point, so I ended up with five tubers in the pot instead of four.
Second supervisor also liked what I wrote. Despite my fuzzy head, mild depression and nonexistant motivation, I’m feeling pretty good right now!
I ate a breakfast sandwich.
I arrived to the movie theater more than 2 minutes before the start time of the movie. Tony Victor!
I am at work. There are no sick babies here. I am very happy.
Despite all logic, I’m in bed with a timer set.
Delivery people for something I had to sign for turned up at 8am, so I didn’t have to worry all day that I might miss them if I left the house.
