I’ve had a steam mop for a few years which I naturally assumed was doing a good job. The last time I used it was a couple of months ago, and for some reason I decided to feel the steam, which was barely warm. I bought a new one, and judging by how gross the pad is, 
it seems to work really well. I realize the point is dirty pad, clean floor, but yuck. My floor is a color that doesn’t really show the dirt so I was living in ignorant bliss!
Also… for those of you who have one, do you use it on hardwood? I’ve been scared to with the old one, but this one has 3 settings, so maybe I can start with the low one?

Our taxes are WEIRDLY easy this year. No medical deduction and all the receipts that go with that, for one. First time in like 4 years for that

If the finish is scratched and worn I wouldn’t, but if it’s in good shape it should be ok in moderation.
