That friend of mine is a front line worker- she runs a company doing residential and commercial cleaning, and does much of the work herself. I’m her main childcare and the closest thing her kid has to a second parent.
My friend and her kid won’t see me or my kids, other than parking lot chats and maybe walking far apart at the dog park, until this is over. My friend’s uncomplaining commitment to keeping me safe is the most incredible act of love. She is so good.
I got TWO HOURS to myself after Duckling went to bed today! I did no work. Yay!
I saw this yesterday! I went out to take all my donations to Goodwill before they shut down and I saw two friends in a parking lot, their cars pulled up next to each other but with their windows up, talking on their phones. It was clear they were talking to each other. I don’t think they were six feet apart but they both had their windows up.
This made me tear up
I’m going to eat cake for lunch.
It was delicious, FYI.
I had lemon oreos for breakfast.
I didn’t even know those were a thing! Mmm, that makes me want lemon bars…

I went on a walk today! 1.5 miles at lunch.
Which, uh, is the first exercise in awhile. BUT IT’S A START. I’ll build my legs back up. 
I’m going to get that tattooed on my butt.
I made cake today. It’s delicious!
I am cleared for exercise. I got to socialize with my doctor. I felt very secure in health and safety while I was out.
I got poutine.
Now maybe I walk?
I was able to source a couple items from a local used boutique instead of amazon. Husband is going and doing a curb pickup now. Great prices, shopping local, AND more immediate gratification. Awesome.
I just did 10 minutes of my 15 minute workout!
