We are hitting poop targets, and tomorrow we get our Hakka pump. So this formula thing might be almost over?

Doesn’t matter. Poop targets matter.

My kid just asked me “what dost thou require, maiden?”

He thinks I’m a maiden. This is concerning.

Perhaps the full details of the definition of that word are not clear to him.

Steak dinner.

Finding out our baseline diet is shockingly easy to adapt to dairy free.

Baby appears to be gaining weight, via the sneaky methods of feeding her when she’s mainly still too asleep to complain/fight it. :+1:

He knows what it means but didn’t have a readily available alternative word for female person in faux old english. I’m just glad he didn’t call me m’lady.

Sounds like it’s time to teach him the all-purpose “wench”!

But an admissions person I had spoken with before, like a year ago when I was trying to figure out how to do what I wanted to do, noticed and remembered. She called me to confirm and said she’s going to figure out how to fix it and call me back. So, nice service there?

It’s not as if I applied for engineering when I’m trying to apply for special education or something. It’s just… I want the master’s and the endorsement. I applied for the master’s and the license, but I already have a teaching license. There’s also an endorsement-only plan, so it’s a bit confusing. She admitted the website and the application process are clunky, which um, yes.

Still, I’m lucky she was looking out for me!

eta: An endorsement if something added to your teaching license to certify you to teach a specific, extra thing. I thought I should add that in case people aren’t familiar with the bureaucratic nonsense that is teaching licenses (which of course completely vary from state to state and have all different names. In California, I had a credential and certifications, here in Oregon I have a license and endorsements and authorizations.)

As a parent of a special ed kid*, thank you for being a teacher and dealing with all the bureaucratic nonsense. You are worth your weight in gold. I’m glad the admissions person had your back.

*Not that you teach special ed, but it’s the only glimpse I have for the nonsense above and beyond the normal teaching stuff.

That sounds like a headache and a half. Hopefully the application stuff can be easily sorted out!

In celebration of family day (civic holiday in Canada) I scanned and then shredded family history stuff - a bunch is outdated as it’s up to 1996-2000, but if my mother ever asks I can pull it up. Another quarter inch of the filing cabinet reclaimed!

We’ve made incredible progress on our taxes, and decided what sort of IRA we’re gonna do. :raised_hands: in between baby naps. Miracle. Especially because we’re taking the medical deduction again this year, so it was a lot of bills, receipts, and EOBs to sort and enter into a spreadsheet.
