My little dude had his second ever math test today. He has the material down cold but felt that he should dress the part to ensure success. Meaning dress as geekily as possible. Glasses, video game shirt, mismatched socks. He is cosplaying a dork, he says.
Not many people get this excited about a math test.

Little dude is incredibly cool. I was known to wear a homemade sock puppet to talk to for math tests. Fortunately, this was before camera phones.

Ditto. I was listening to my Pandora The Hu station earlier but it needs more tweaking, it keeps putting in English speaking music. What I need to do is blend it with my stompy station - E Nomine, VNV, KMFDM, Apop, Deadmau5, Rammstein are the seed artists for that station.

The kids and I have the house to ourselves tonight, for the first time since just after we moved in. We are doing all the things we normally can’t, like shouting across the house to each other and peeing with the door open (ok, just me) and singing. A lot of singing, very loudly.

Went to a local consignment shop that caters to kid stuff and ended up buying a lot of shirts (most likely to use next winter and maybe the year after). I mentioned I had a consignment number thinking I had maybe $15 worth of credit. I had $80. I have no idea what that credit came from, but thanks past self! Free shirts! And still more credit for next time I go back!
Additional bonus, clothes are cheaper there than Old Navy and have already been used once so I don’t feel as bad about fast fashion. I wish they had stuff in my size.

I started to get a migraine before a choir concert, but I managed to hit it with caffeine and painkillers early enough that I still enjoyed the concert

I finally started using the sewing machine I had been gifted several years ago and it did not break 
I am learning how to use it (never had used one before I got it) and it is so pleasing!
