That one is super simple, connects directly to the toilet plumbing and is really easy to use and looks great. The amount you turn the thing determines the water pressure. It doesn’t really have any special features, it just works well and is cheap! I thought I wouldn’t like the cold water but it hasn’t been a problem.
I found the overlocker machine I wanted at the first store I went to at a very good price, even though I’d blocked off several hours for shopping with my mum.
I was miserable but I went to therapy then got my insurance to reimburse me for a bunch of stuff then found an amazing couch at the thrift store (hopefully it will still be there in 4 weeks when I have a house to put it in!) And now I have thai food that will hopefully stay down. So today is good.
I don’t know how thrift stores work, is there any way they would hold the couch for you if you pay for it in advance? Maybe that is not a thing?
I’ll just hope for the best. If this couch can exist the very first time I go looking, presumably others will exist in a few weeks if this one is gone.
For the sake of using a photo I took, here it is.
And this is the wrinkly face of a dog.
I cancelled a lunch date instead of spreading my germs around or wearing myself out.
Nice! (The dog face is also nice.)
I love that color! Do they do holds? Some of ours do unless they are overstocked.
As I was headed out the door to the gym I told my bigger kid that I’m going to work on my gainz and get swole. He cringed so hard. That is my victory.
When I get home I’ll ask him if he even lifts.
hahaha everything about that is multiple victories.
I’m giggling so hard.
That couch is beautiful! I hope it is still there for you in the future!
My husband and I are gonna have a spontaneous lunch date because my brain is insisting I need a milkshake and french fries. PMS made me do it.
The baby is letting me sit down while she sleeps on me. Lately she’s been very fussy in the daytime, and will only sleep if I’m up and moving- and NOT using the carrier Hard mode. Anyway, she went to sleep easily and barely stirred when I sat down.
YAY!
My MIL talked about the three foot rule after kiddo was around. The three foot rule is that the baby does not want to be within three feet of the floor, aka someone must be holding the baby and moving at all times. I believe the three foot rule is a baby conspiracy, along with them having “opinions” on pacifiers.
I hope you get some good sitting time in.
An afghan I made is now a featured photo on the pattern’s Ravelry page. This is not actually super impressive (the pattern only has 15 projects and mine is one of two projects with remotely decent photos), but nonetheless. I PREEN.
Also a non-project group I’m part of at work got mentioned in our company dashboard this morning and we were all named by name, so like. Moar preen.
I would preen about being featured like that on a pattern! I look through all the photos when I’m looking at patterns and really appreciate the ones with good photos
I do think the photo shows off the stitch pattern nicely, which is good, and I personally love the gorgeously tacky bright color theme I chose.
Not sure if victory or complaint: I am suddenly and unexpectedly co – PI on a grant that I’m not quite sure what even is, all because I admitted to knowing something about the NSF earlier today.
I purchased a Bidet and it will be shipping and underneath my bottom soon!
AND I purchased it directly from the manufacturers website, not Amazon - a goal I have been working on in this new year (because F Amazon).
My kid is VERY into construction trucks right now and has had me read Mighty Mighty Construction Site every single night for something like two weeks now. There’s construction going on adjacent to my work and last week I got a video of a dump truck hauling in dirt and a front end loader (because I know what that is now) moving around the site, then today I managed to get a video of a concrete truck and pumper. Both of which are pages straight from his book. Mom win!
