I got a full refund (in the form of a gift card) on a product from Amazon for a problem that isn’t that big of a deal. Then I spent that refund on vanilla, which I want for baking but which is very expensive. FREE VANILLA.

I asked my landlord if we could put up a shelf, and he responded by saying yes, offering us the tools to do so, and saying he had a ton of free poster frames in the basement we could have. ?!?!?!? Landlord lottery won.

My kitchen sink is clogged and it just seems like one thing after another with our house right now… but my contractor friend is on his way over and not only do I adore him as a person but I’m so grateful that he’s able to come over on short notice to take care of this problem

Girl Cat has been going outside the boxes downstairs daily now, and it’s driving me crazy. Oftentimes we’ll wake up to both downstairs pads soiled next to a clean box. I put some Dr Elsey’s Cat Attract in the boxes and today there were two used boxes and nothing outside!! And then Girl Cat ran from the dining room when I was emptying the dishwasher and I was like uh oh, I hadn’t scooped yet and she was sure to have gone on the pad but she went in the already used box!!! This is a major victory!!

OMG this stuff is really working! It didn’t the first time I used it a while ago. Instead of mixing it into the litter like the instructions said, I’m sprinkling it on top of the litter.
We came home after being out all day and GIRL CAT POOPED IN A BOX DOWNSTAIRS!!! We know it’s her because she doesn’t bury. I’m ready to go buy this product in bulk

Moved Old Dog into our bedroom with us tonight. It’s a very tight squeeze, but he’s So Happy and is much less restless. He’s always had access to us, but slept around a corner in the next room.
ETA it’s a tight squeeze fitting his floor bed in here - he’s well beyond being able to climb up on to our bed.

Made progress on the big work project. In terms of pieces I’ve finished vs what still in the back log, it’s only 30% done, but time-wise we’re closer to 70% I might actually get this thing done on time yet.

The last person to get on this bolt bus wanted to sit next to me. I was veeery slow gathering my stuff from the empty seat, and I strategically glanced behind me at the other, more accessible seats.
She went to another row! Muahaha. Protecting my domain!
