Both my undergrad and grad programs had a lot of adult/ returning students. I was one. I found the dynamics and learning in age-diverse classrooms to be much better than the few undergrad classes I took that were all very young adults.

Good from bad- because I was on triple feeds because Latte struggled to regain weight, and then hated bottles and doesn’t take nearly as much as I pump, I have a large freezer stash of milk now. It’s getting so large that I’ll soon be able to donate to a milk bank that supplies local NICUs and sells to families once they go home.

I got decent sleep last night and therefore have dismantled and fixed my vacuum, vaccumed v thoroughly, changed the cat litter, and wiped down the bathroom. Future me who has an intensive work day ahead is going to be less impressed with these life choices. But long term me who doesn’t have to live in filth is cool with it.

Due to this being the Christmas holiday, the roads are very empty and it should be very easy for me to get to all of my appointments today.
Additionally, due to implementing holiday pricing this year, I am working about 3/4 of the hours that I did last year on this date but I’m making about 10% more.
This is very rough math that I just kind of eyeballed this morning before I left for my appointments, but I’m still feeling pretty good about it
