Because of the coming saltwater intrusion and also hurricane season, I filled the freezer with mason jars full of Brita water.
Every single one broke. I spent my morning cleaning broken glass out of the freezer. I guess I filled them too full.

The Army Corps of engineers just updated the salt progression, it may not even hit the Carrollton intake Station anymore. Fingers crossed!

I literally just saw this! Via Tinder Meteorologist. I heart him so much. I hope this is true. Worried about the garden and also closing on a house a few days after the salt was forecast to hit.

Lemme know if you want me to give you some recs for kid physios who both give useful play ideas and are also realistic about when you actually need to see someone about when kid is doing a thing (like 50% of kids reach a thing by age Y months and thats the age everyone hears but that means 50% of kids have NOT and that is normal!)

Earwig. In My Toilet first thing in the morning…thank god I do a precheck/lift the seat to check underneath before I sit down because of anxiety about rattlesnakes/roaches in toilet bowls. But seriously. OMG! wtf

I haven’t been able to find my expensive reading glasses in a week. I had a coworker check at the office and they were not there. Where can they be?? With the puzzle piece I noticed missing too!! Anyways, it sucks. I have searched everywhere.
