I, or the internet, have reached a tipping point. in the past, my best luck finding information has been well honed google search skills. Enter: baby sleep. My Instagram algorithm is now bringing me substantially higher relevance content than any searching I’ve managed. It feels very passive and weird to have an answer I semi was looking for served to me on a platter as I scroll versus actively searching a specific query. Pretty sure this all makes me old. Old but sad.

Also kid 2 up until 5 am crying and nursing till my meds worked well enough to problem solve (not food and water, yes tylenol)

Apparently my electric company had a rate increase to the tune of about $20 a month. Total for this year is now $20 increase on electric, $10 increase on car insurance, $5 increase on trash, $10 increase on internet, $25 increase on HOA. It’s tiny amounts but it adds up so fast 
. I hate it.

The package theft in my building is just getting worse and worse, and I kind of suspect it’s the guy who comes to clean the hallways every few days. (We already caught him trying to steal our groceries that we left in the hallway for maybe 3 minutes.) I’m just so tired of having to file a claim for like 50% of the shit I ordered if I can’t grab the package the minute it’s delivered.

Left for a weekend trip right after work today and discovered that someone took the sandwich that was going to be my dinner from the office fridge 
(it’s fine, I assume it was someone way more in need of food than me since that’s very likely the case)

We did, but nothing happened. But our super and management are generally kind of useless. I actually DIY most repairs in my apartment unless it’s really above my pay grade. Kind of standard for NYC, unfortunately.
I’m thinking about getting a PO box. There weren’t any available last time I checked but some seem to have opened up. $$$

I am the Angel of Death re hosting events. This is twice now in 1 week that we had to change venues for an event because the venue was closed. Once for a private party (I confirmed online that they were open but didn’t think to check for a private party!) and once because some important piece of equipment must’ve shit the bed, as they were “unexpectedly closed for repairs.”
