I did yard work yesterday and wore shorts instead of pants like I normally do. I got a ton of insect bites on the back of one leg. Sooooo itchy, ugh.

My 7 year old got mad at his sister on her last day at daycare and kicked the front door when he stormed out.
It broke.
Now we’re paying $700 to replace a glass door at a daycare we don’t attend anymore.

Plastic piece broke on my vacuum and it turns out there’s no way to repair it 
heads up, the guy at the repair place says shark is one of the worst for parts of all the brands- he thinks their vacuums are good but because they don’t sell parts for repair, their shops won’t carry them for sale.
Luckily we got it into a locked position where I can use it still, it just won’t move all the ways it should/fold down for storage anymore.

Picked up a new phone (Kickstarter) since my old one is ~5 years old and not in the best shape (possibly because of the concrete it might or might not have landed on a few times), and it looks like the new one’s got a bug where it can send MMS (multimedia messages) but not SMS (simple messages). Very weird, and even if it can be worked around, it’s also very annoying.

It is 1:15am and I have been trying to fall asleep since 9:30. My dog is having a completely random terrible night, barking in the crate, and after attempts at soothing him, taking him for a night walk, bringing him to my room (where I couldn’t sleep because he was SO hot and my brain was too anxious) and back downstairs, he is still barking at the empty living room. I’m also on the verge of sickness and this was my one night to try to make up some sleep. And none of my meds are working, which just tops off the shit pile. 10/10 horrible night

Another terrible dog barking night. I wish I knew what was causing it, and how to fix it. It was never this bad even when he was much younger. After ignoring 8 different times I gave up and he’s in my bed. I won’t be sleeping but at least he will

A person really shouldn’t be allowed to complain this much in a 24 hour period, but here I am. My AC is broken, and it’s 104 degrees outside. I had it looked at a month ago to avoid something like this and the technician said it was working perfectly. Dislike

Yay! 12 hours of paid time off for the storm. Office closes at 1pm and we are not meant to work until Thursday morning.
