The $$$ brace that was supposed to save my arm and possibly the world turns out to be an allergen for me. I am covered in a horrible rash, which appeared after the returnable period for the $$$ brace. So i am itchy and poorer.

Can you wear it over a shirt to block / minimize contact with your skin?
It might be worth contacting the seller or manufacturer since you’ve had a strong allergic reaction.

My clothes dryer broke - heat but no tumble. Another lumpy expense for this year.
ETA: dryer purchased in 1991, and has served us well
ETA2: bought a new dryer, to be delivered Thursday. Of course there’s a wet load in the washer.
And I looked at an induction stove - tempting (there is one that has broken the $1K barrier, and 0% financing)…

It was 101 degrees F on our front porch this afternoon.
The weather is utterly gorgeous but it’s supposed to be raining so that we don’t run out of water over summer.
Also bugs keep eating my strawberries and their leaves aren’t happy. Hmm.
