My Aurora app just sent a notification that they could be visible in the next half hour or so, if you are still up.
We were able to see them (faintly) from the backyard last night.

My in laws just called my husband to cancel coming for his birthday dinner today because they are sick.
I am not annoyed that they cancelled.
I am annoyed that they called him, when I was the one who issued the invite.

Remember how my mortgage company didn’t pay our home insurance and we unknowingly had no coverage for a month? I paid with my credit card and was told that it would be automatically refunded when the check went through. I called the mortgage company today and the check was cashed, but I had no refund. I have now been on hold and then talking to the nice lady at the insurance company for 45 minutes and she’s trying to issue me a refund for the double payment via Zelle but it’s not working. Now she has me back on hold while she talks to a specialist.
On the plus side, I successfully cancelled our escrow with the mortgage company.

I started my furniture shopping today. I was quoted 3k and 6k for different couches. Guess which is my favorite? Ugh.
Also there’s very little colorful stuff out, and that’s almost all blue tones which I don’t like. There are almost zero fabrics with colorful patterns.
I may not actually be buying anything until more colorful things are available.

One of the neighborhood cats - a girl! - sprayed all over the side of our house, and yes she is fixed. Ew.
Additionally we have been hearing cats fighting loudly under our house which is freaky when very late at night.

I have to stay up until midnight to register for summer classes 
on a sunday night…who are the people that make these decisions?
ETA: oh AND…I have to wake up at 6am to resister for Fall classes…seriously.

Yes unfortunately it’s a very large university with very limited spots for the classes I need so I had to register right away…but I got into both after a lot of screen refreshing and webpage crashes!
