I’m dog sitting for my parents and their kitchen sink is too technologically advanced for me. The handle and faucet are touch sensitive so if you touch it anywhere it’ll turn on or off. I can never remember how to get it to do what I want. I just got home from four days of backpacking in the wilderness and filtering water out of a lake, and it’s much simpler than operating this sink.

My data is too big. I need 6 months of data to run any real analysis and I’d like to work with 3 years worth. The system that was built before I arrived can pull about 15 minutes worth of data before it crashes. I’m pretty sure I could tape a couple chromebooks together and get better performance.

Oh, and tradies working directly outside my bathroom window are starting to get me down. I liked showering without wondering how much people could see through the frosted glass. I miss that.

Mint no longer opens on my phone. It crashes out on the loading screen. I’ve restarted and everything. No updates available.
And it’s the first of the month, and I would like to do my monthly accounts review. But now I’ll need to use my computer, which involves a less comfortable chair.

I checked my accounts a few days ago (for… reasons (I really shouldn’t)) and I was up like ~7k!
I checked my accounts today for monthly reckoning and I am down ~3k. Thanks to Trump’s idiotic statement today about tariffs on Chinese products.
I guess I should have recorded yesterday. Which is semantics, (?), I realize.

My car officially crossed the line into beater territory. It’s 14 and in bad shape and now the driver side door handle isn’t working so I have to climb over the seats to get out. That makes it a beater, right?
