Or they can wave but not try to talk. I do that with the neighbors a lot - they have stuff to do. They are trying to demand your attention. Part of it may be friendly - but they should be getting a clue that you can’t talk to them all of the time. They are ignoring social cues.

Yeah frankly they sound like the rude-dudes. Cospace relies on reading cues well. As someone in an apartment building, I actively avoid the few people who don’t read cues well. Sometimes I don’t have the time or want, and people need to be fine with that.

Yes, if they make you uncomfortable, they are the ones out-of-bounds. You don’t owe them your time or attention. Keep feeding them clues (acknowledge but don’t engage unless you are willing to talk). “Gotta run” and wave goodbye.

Buzzing head and “migraine” from tense muscles and a week of very bad sleep (which had no legitimate cause). Nearly over but uuuuughhhh this is why I drink very little coffee, I hate this feeling and it’s pretty similar despite no caffeine for days.

Yesterday at the airport I became worried that my two bags, being a little bigger than regulation, wouldn’t be allowed as carry ons. My flight was delayed so I had a lot of time to over think it. So I tried to eat as much as I could from the generous grocery section of my backpack, to free up space. It was stupid. I ate an unreasonable amount of cheese and too many apples. This morning I am paying for it.

I am drinking nitro cold brew, and it tastes very good, and it is making me SO jittery. Unclear if I am going to stop drinking it.

I’m always happy to see more unread posts in the Tiny Victories thread than in Tiny Complaints, but despite a 21:2 ratio of posts there weren’t any Tony Victors, just a conversation about pantry moths :frowning:

I misread the first post as being about panty moths, which would have been much more interesting.

I was the person who started the whole pantry moth thing (sorry @Crow, wasn’t expecting so many people to discuss it!) and I went back after I posted to confirm whether I typed panty or pantry.

My tiny complaint is that I none of my cats want to snuggle right now.

Someone I like has discovered a scary misogynist public figure and admires him :frowning:

I did a stupid thing and also my emotional tolerance is lowered so today I had a panic attack while driving. Sigh.

While sleepily attempting to make coffee this morning, my husband very responsibly tossed the coffee grounds at the compost heap. Sadly it was pitch dark, and he was still asleep. He lost his grip on the grounds holder from the coffee pot and the whole thing went flying out into the darkness. It’s now daylight, but I can’t find it, at least not yet. I think perhaps he overshot and flung it off into the woods.

Tony victory: I keep our old enamelware percolator on the stovetop as my kettle, so we had coffee this morning. It makes much better tasting coffee than any other method I know of, so that was a plus, but it’s really, really hard to use at 0-dark-30 when you’re half asleep.

Apparently my anxiety is spiking - insomnia/intrusive thoughts at bed time - but I have no idea why.

Additional complaint - this led to ~5 hours of sleep because my brain then decided to be on alert enough to wake up as Mr. Meer was sneaking out this morning at 4:30AM to go exercise even though I was sleeping in a different room so we wouldn’t bother each other too much with off-set sleep schedules last night.
