Tiny Complaints

Just checking CalBal: Are you having any sort of nausea/dizziness/sweating/fatigue/other really unpleasant symptoms along with that?

Hm, maybe.

Nope!

I have a pinched nerve in my arm, which is lame. What makes it worse is that @CalBal is copying me. Get your own injury!

Sorry for the duplicate (ugh phone) – I hope your body sorts itself out overnight!

I drove 355 miles today for work, which is a victory, but my sciatic nerve would like to submit today’s tiny complaint. Ow.

Motion sickness from reading my phone while walking. Uuuuuughh.

I slept badly the last two nights. Last night it wasn’t even anybody else’s fault. I am grumpy.

Second tiny complaint: My coffee leaked in my lunch bag. I didn’t lose enough coffee to worry about, but now my nice bag is all wet with coffee.

I’m incapable of shaving my legs without completely cutting them up.

(I HATE shaving my legs, and did not do so all winter, but sometimes I like how they look.)

I have the same tiny complaint. I think I’ve finally given up.

Yep. I’ve tried new razors (many kinds), older razors, not old or new razors but somewhere in between razors, sensitive skin shaving cream, and my legs are always bleeding and covered in red bumps the first day I shave. Not to mention itchy and stingy (my least favorite part). I tried Nair in high school, and it gave me a rash. Way too wimpy to wax anything on my body. Laser costs money.

I will say, the new sensitive formula stuff didn’t give me a rash, and I react to EVERYTHING (lol, 10+ years now since I used it… “new” as in not the original 70s/80s/90s stuff!) So you may give that a patch test try, if you really want the smooth and not the shaving. Or try sugaring, if you never have- way less painful than waxing, and kinda cool tbh. Can easily be done at home.

How do any of these impact ingrown hairs?
My nemsisssss…

That I do not know. I only used it briefly, when I was trying out being more of a fancy lady in college. All that self care took too long and cost more, so I quickly went back to quick shaves with bar soap and cheap men’s razors. :stuck_out_tongue:

XD And my answer has been to simply not shave. LOL.

I recognize my massive privilege as a blondie on this. Very light fine hair. So, pretty easy to shave, and just once to twice a week and have that be plenty.

…although given the whole ‘trying to reach my legs around a baby bump’ is getting increasingly logistically difficult, we’ll see how much longer that all lasts.

Yeah. I have thick dark hair. I’m a hobbit for realz. I get ingrown hairs with some frequency, even in my arm pits. :frowning: It’s less than awesome.

That definitely fits on the complaints thread!
