Ngl, this kind of shit is why I stopped smoking pot years ago. It just does not agree with me.
I am here to complain because today is Day 2 Back At Work and I just REALLY DO NOT WANT TO. I keep checking my investment accounts like “y aren’t u miraculously FIRE levels already dammit?”
You are definitely not alone if weed makes you feel not-great, especially at high doses – being too high is reeeeally unpleasant, even if you otherwise love weed.
someone managed to tear out several previously very healthy branches of my climbing rose and forced me to prune an 8 foot section because they left a 6" tear exposing the core of the stalk. There were so many baby buds on that section. Plus it gouged out my arbor being ripped away.
My rose is resilient, but it is in poor soil, low light, low moisture (halfway between two century maples), it doesn’t recover quickly.
I hope the thorns ripped their favourite jacket badly.
I bought the same pair of PJs as last year. Same store, same brand, same size. (New print is all, but they have several). It is RADICALLY A DIFFERENT SIZE.
The fabric is all stretchy and floppy and silky and would be hell to sew, I’m sure. you know, plus my utter lack of skills, but uh… brushing that aside.
Mint did a huge app update and I HATE IT. It displays a net worth graph that takes up 2/3 of the screen on the Home Screen. (I try to ignore market changes). I have to click through like 6 different screens to get to the “monthly budget” screen, which is what I use the most. I just… UGHHHH. I hate mint but I was never able to get YNAB to work for me unless I did it all manually and I hate doing that, esp with SirB’s work expenses we have like 50 transactions per week
When 9/11 happened, I was working for a truly horrible, horrible woman and even SHE herded us all into the conference room so we could watch TV, until they evacuated downtown Chicago because people feared the Tower was next.
Of course, that was international terrorists and not God-fearin’ 'Muricans…
I didn’t go food shopping this morning (I had a non-coup, legitimate reason). Now I don’t have the ingredients to make anything for dinner that I actually want to eat.
There’s a large bushfire burning well north of my city, but it’s very hard to control. Also the smoke isn’t affecting us but apparently I forgot to do all the stuff I said I’d do last January, like buy air purifiers, and have to work out out now before we do get one close to the city.
