I didn’t know what earwigs were and I looked them up. This knowledge is my tiny complaint. (They look too much like Jerusalem crickets, which are such gentle creatures but for reasons I don’t understand are also one of the few creatures on this planet that skeeve me out.)
Oh, earwigs are totally harmless unless they’re eating your garden. They’re just also unreasonably terrifying.
I’m unconvinced by this claim (I know that’s what experts say, not disputing your comment. Just… my viscera disagrees haha)
Slapped by a toddler so hard my earring came out and I’m bleeding.
Oh damn.
It was not a dangly earing either. It was a post.
Good lord, latte. O_O
She is very strong.
Ouch. I have always been afraid of babies and toddlers when wearing earrings. The little ones are STRONG!
I washed my hair 11 hours ago. It is still not all the way dry.
I thought post earrings were safe she must have caught at just the right angle. The post is slightly bent now too.
Mind you, these are cheap earrings. She’s not a super baby. still.
Sudden nosebleed turned a good bath bad.
The dinner I made was ~fine~ but not actually good.
Oh I hate that. I’d rather it just be bad because then I have an excuse to eat something else, but fine? Fine I feel like I should still eat because food waste is bad.
YUP.
We will be eating this.
It’s just slightly annoying.
I have to do things today that are not reading The Girl in the Tower.
You should cancel those things.
The third book is even better.
augh! must get to it!
(Actually so far I don’t have a ton of work today so as long as nobody stops by my cubicle–which they shouldn’t, it’s a pandemic–I can read in my browser…)
Is The Girl in the Tower the first book or 2nd? I need more reading material.
First book is The Bear and the Nightingale and is an absolute masterpiece.
