My down arrow key has stopped working reliably and I probably use this key about as often as I do the space bar. Arrrghhhh.

The cornbread mix I am in possession of contains lard. Blarg. Hubs is a vegetarian. He’s being really nice about it and says not to worry, that he just won’t have any. I feel bad because I know he loves cornbread. (Another TC, I would run out and get something else, but I’m not doing that because of covid. I feel we have already exceeded our risk/exposure “budget” with a lot of errands this week).

I made a HORRIFYINGLY expensive shipping error in my Amazon Handmade shop. I thought I had international shipping turned off. Apparently I had a duplicate shipping profile that still had it turned on. Cue an order from Abu Dhabi that Amazon would only let me use DHL Express shipping for.
I wanted to cancel the order, but seller cancellations can get you shut down if they’re more than 2.5% of your sales. Since I have so few sales during the time frame they look at, it would’ve been 12% for me and I don’t want to get shut down right before Xmas.
If the line outside the post office was not consistently around the block due to most people in my zip code not getting mail for weeks on end and lining up to complain, I would’ve just mailed it in person, but, alas. Paypal shipping also wouldn’t let me do international, and I couldn’t log into my stamps.com account!?!
So, I just ate it.
Would one of you fine folks who is outside the US be willing to do me a favor and take a look at my listings and verify that you are not able to buy from me? It looks correct on my end now since I turned off international shipping literally everywhere I thought I might have an option to, but I would feel better with proof that non-US buyers are seeing some sort of “This seller does not ship to your country” message. Which obviously it wouldn’t show me.

As a vegetarian, I would say believe him when he says don’t worry about it. Shit happens, and if it were me I’d be more irritated that people put lard in cornbread mix, than at my partner for missing it on the label.
I have the same second TC as you. It’s really hard to fix errors now unless you want more exposure and mostly I feel like it’s not worth it.

I’m annoyed with all my current recipes, but anything I don’t normally eat seems to complicated, basically the same, or I just don’t want it.

Argh, laptop. Yes, IME, slow disintegration is the way this will go. Sorry.
Keyboard replacement is a thing and might fix it, but is a royal pain with your own machine and might not be possible with a work one.

I have replaced my laptop keyboard! (after it got wet from biking in a storm) It really wasn’t too bad.
On a work machine I’d make them do it, though.

Yeah, I didn’t mean physically impossible, more logistically and politically unlikely with a work machine.
But I hate it. I hate cracking a laptop open at all and try to avoid.

Kiddo can physically get at the place I had been stashing his Xmas and birthday gifts. There was enough stuff on top that he didn’t realize the treasure trove he had stumbled on, but I have no idea where to move it all to now.
Edit: I was so tired I forgot my other TC: he woke us up at like 4:45? to show us some art he had made … forever ago, so not new art … but how long had he been awake by then? He had shitty behavior last night before bed, he really needed a good nights sleep. Also I am bitter that he did not sleep till 5:30 because I wanted to sleep till at least 5:30.

It is super dark out (gross weather, not time change) and I don’t have any clean pants or comfy skirts so looks like a working-in-pajamas day. Which - I know this is heresy - I actually don’t like to do.
I am going to have to find some sort of clean bottom to put on to go to the bakery and pick up my pie order today.

WTF packaging. One of my adopt-a-senior people wanted fancy bath stuff for the holiday so I ordered fancy bath stuff and got a ‘have a free lip gloss’ offer as a thank you at checkout. Sure, why not. Did curbside pickup today (it’s a local place) and got two boxes, one reasonable-sized one with the stuff I ordered and one somehow larger that included a single tube of lip gloss and a lot of bubble wrap.

I decided to do a nice treat for myself since regardless of holidays and how much I don’t care about them I’m pretty much not going to see any family or friends at all in 2020 so I wanted a nice take out delivery dinner.
Every single thing in the order was like weirdly wrong – close… but just… wrong.
And the driver, feeling the need to knock on my wooden door instead of the storm door, pulled hard on the storm door handle without realizing there are safety bars on it 
He completely broke one of the bars and dislodged the other one.

Additional complaint.
I was having allergy symptoms a few days ago primarily wildly swollen eyes and they went away. And now. THEY ARE BACK.
Specifically the eyes.
ETA I dont think it can be pink eye because it was both eyes.
