I did a big Instacart Costco order for Lockdown 2.0 and had all the fixings for nachos. Which all arrived except the guacamole.
I’m getting a refund, and can still have nachos, but no guac.

I feel undermined by a coworker, who made me feel like I’m not doing my job - even though our IT release was rescheduled with a new date this morning, I had taken the day off and was going to notify all relevant people tomorrow (since it’s not happening until December I figured 24 more hours would hurt). He suggested I give everyone the updates and make sure all communications were pulled - which I did, the one person did not do it. I’m probably over reacting and I don’t think it was his intention to make me feel this way, but I do.

Also, our grocery order arrived and it contains everything we ordered but it is all INGREDIENTS and no snacks or junk food and what was I thinking?!

I received a new US Bank ReliaCard debit card. I do not have an account at US Bank. Some googling tells me that this is the card that some states use to distribute unemployment benefits. I am still employed and have not applied for unemployment. So this is likely some kind of fun scam where someone has applied for unemployment in my name. I don’t think it was even done in the state I live in. I filled out the “hey, this looks like fraud” form on US Bank’s website and hope they can at least tell me what state it was from so I can alert them.

My complaint is sorta vast.
I’m tired of being advertised to. I’m tired of attempts at genuine connection being sponsored in some way with attempts to sell things. I’m tired of stumbling across shoes on Ali Express that I know are the blanks that companies add their proprietary features to and seeing the 127% mark up.
I’m tired of hearing about giant corporations sponsoring wimpy ass environmental fundraisers or whatever as tax write offs.

Yes in my room at work. I fly to work on Monday morning and stay here until Friday(this week but that changes depending on the roster) so I have a room to sleep in.
We do have showers on site as well. But I haven’t used them

I tried to read for too long, and now I can’t see only a single image of any person or object. It’s doubling the number of characters in the show I’m watching, unless I keep one eye closed the whole time.

Granted, I have not tried any of their decaf varieties but I find their coffee…mediocre. Bad, for the price. If I was buying from a local roaster still I’d be using Stone Creek (bought from them for a couple years) but trying to keep the price down.
Whatever the dentist did to my tooth last week it hurts like crazy. It did not hurt before the filling. Now it won’t stop hurting. (I do go back this afternoon)

My wife is back to work on-site. We will miss having her around during the day. (Her company had her WFH for 2 weeks after a confirmed covid exposure at work despite test being negative.)

Package scanned as delivered on Saturday night, still not here. Boyfriend now also has a package scanned as delivered that is not here. I reordered, but if that one doesn’t get here by Friday I have to refund a custom order (it is materials for my jewelry business). According to the neighborhood groups this is happening throughout our entire zip code.
And, still cannot report any missing packages as the USPS missing mail link is either broken or was taken down purposely.
