I’m so so sorry.
Does not compute.
To be fair I’m giving them short shift. They DID have an unopened cinnamon in the pantry I was able to use on the baby’s breakfast.
No.
In a way it’s almost admirable. Such dedication to the spice-free life. I’d like to think that the cheerios are in fact a spice and get sprinkled on to various dishes.
If I could go back in time to high school me’s house, there would be spices but there’d be a light layer of dust on top and they’d all be old and tasteless because they were bought for one recipe that one time … and that’s it. Not sure if that’s better or worse than not having them in the first place.
They used to be like that, then they moved.
Not so small but …
A friend of mine was in a rehab close to where I live. They now have covid in the clinic.
He was supposed to stay another 2 weeks but was asked to leave due to 50% of all therapists are quarantined. As he was there due to psychosomatic issues - he is freaked out.
I picked him up today and drove him half the way to home (170 km) there we met with another friend and she picked him up to drive the other half.
There was no way that we would have him traveled by train (he has no drivers license). Due to splitting it was only 3,5 hours driving for each of us.
That’s awful. I’m glad your friend has you and your other friend looking out for them. I hope your friend is able to get the help they need in their new location.
Y’all have seen photos of my spice situation. This is mindboggling to me.
Yes, he will get therapy at home and will apply for another rehab immediately to be able to have one as soon as it is safe again.
I am not much of a cook, but even I have way more than this. I do have more baking spices than cooking ones to be fair.
My baking spices live together with my baking stuff. I cannot fathom this situation.
The liquor store was out of my preferred brand of rum, I do not like the substitute I got. Mr. Meer is not drinking liquor right now so I get to drink it all myself, sigh.
What did you get?
Got my new glasses in today and they are…wrong. Either they are wrong or this is going to be a rough adjustment. Called the optometrist office and made an appointment on Saturday to make sure they’re not wrong.
But my left eye shouldn’t be making the left side of the paper shorter than the right side, and tables on otherwise flat surfaces should not be at an angle. And now I have a horrific headache.
My daily to-do whiteboard has a thing I do not want to do. It’s been there since last week (sometimes I erase and re-write it; one day, I didn’t bother adding it).
Clearly I need a new whiteboard.
Write it in invisible ink and then you don’t have to do it? That’s how that works, right?
