Tiny Complaints

I’m sunburnt :sob: and I only spent half an hour in the sun, before 9am…

Oh shit. Stay safe friend.

Someone this condo is snoring like a chainsaw. I don’t know if it’s my dad or my brother, but OMG STOP.

ETA: Never mind. Snoring has stopped and SIL is speaking with intense annoyance.

I have a wired one from J tech that seems to have held up well (2-3 years?) but I don’t use it all the time. Not at all since March because it’s to tall for my keyboard tray at home.

I cooked chicken and vegetables for the week and left them on the counter overnight. :sob:

The tears are for how many times I’ve made this very same Tiny Complaint here in 2020

Ah fuck

I leave a light on to remind me to put things away (since I will go turn off the light before going to bed)

I remember you saying this the last time I complained about this same thing :joy: you would think I’d learn at some point!

I keep having cramps in the arch of my foot.

Trying to do the baseline work for my money diary makes me realize how NOT robust the mint app is, and annoys me.

Sorting through the amazon purchases from the last couple weeks is aggravating- a mix of expense types, a bunch of purchases and returns for work for SirB, weird values and batching that doesn’t line up with the orders tab… I’m not patient enough for this.

Grandbaby has some facial palsy and cannot latch, apparently from large size and traumatic birth. He’s been taken to a an Italian hospital to get 72 hours of hypothermic (?) treatment and is undergoing neurological testing. I’m not getting much detail, understandably, so have filled in the rest with Google, which is not very reassuring.

The Chase Amazon card (not sure about others) will give you the Amazon order number the charge is from. I’ve found that helpful when figuring out how to categorize things and isn’t immediately clear when looking at Your Orders in Amazon itself.

Ooooh that’s VERY good to know! That’s the card we’re using. It was a nightmare before, but now we have sales tax and I just want to throw the whole damn thing out the window :joy:

I’m so sorry. My baby had birth injuries from her size as well. And I’m a peds nurse so I have a pretty good understanding of how it all went down. Please reach out to me if you want to talk, have questions, etc. Sending you lots of love.

Thank you. I thought of Latte’s experience right away when I heard this this morning. If I get enough details to know what questions to ask, I might.

Got my ThredUp “Goody Box” in the mail today. Only one out of the ten items are a keeper (but it’s a good one! TV for sure!), but I have no idea how much it costs because ThredUp and FedEx are convinced it’s still in transit. The box did not come with an invoice, only a return label. So now I might have to wait two or three days to find out how much the one item I want to keep costs.

OH another TC: I have an obnoxious holiday song stuck in my head. Very catchy, and one I despise under all circumstances.

A coworker retired and all her email is forwarded to me. Apparently she was a die hard conservative, so no matter how I unsubscribe or create rules to auto delete, my inbox is FULL of republican scare mongering garbage emails. If I get one more email from Mitch McConnell I swear to FSM…:face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

She subscribed to political stuff with her work email??

How gross. Receiving that type of email would sure make me feel like I was working in a hostile working environment.

Yes. We work for a super informal company. I actually send all my junk subscriptions to my work email so they don’t clog my real one. When people leave the company they generally get to take their phone/number/sometimes laptop with them. She was here for 15 years so she gets tons of spam.
