My back, hips and pelvis didn’t survive late stage pregnancy well and have not glued themselves back in the desired manner. Fuuuuck.
Are you in pain? Or is it more restricted movement or flexibility? Pregnancy is hard on the body.
I’m not pregnant. But I am all of those other things.
But I’ve also been in constant pain since at least age 13, and movement restrictions are regular. So I’m not sure what you’re asking
I was wondering how this was affecting you. I assumed it was painful, then realized that was an assumption.
I’m hungry but my body refuses to accept food.
Apparently in moving boxes yesterday I lifted wrong or twisted wrong or did something wrong and my back is now making me aware of that fact.
Also it’s 4:30 am and for some reason I’m awake to be aware of the above.
I have to accept a return on an Amazon Handmade order because it took 6 days to get to the buyer, who is in California, and they said that was too long.
Complaint A: FFS, does this person not read the news? 6 days to the west coast is actually pretty good, these days.
Complaint B: If she had actually said she needed it by a specific date, I could’ve explored non-USPS ways of sending and seen if she would’ve been willing to pay for that. But, she did not.
It’s like a $10 sale but I’m still annoyed as I get very, very few sales these days.
My neighbors house is hosting an argument and due to the issues over the summer, I tend to slide down onto the floor (out of window area) when there’s an argument over there. I like my neighbors, actually I love my neighbors, but I do not feel like sitting on the floor right now, nor getting shot.
sometimes having many injuries, and also not having a SO or friends where you live is so expensive. I really would like a grill for my patio, and there are tons of cheap used ones on craigslist but the combo of not being able to lift heavy things+not knowing anyone who can help me means I am likely going to have to suck it up and pay a store to deliver a brand new grill.
Now I can’t find my Kindle or my Kobo. The hunt continues …
Is it outside? I lost my phone yesterday, it was out on the porch.
I’m so sorry. I understand a feeling similar to this very very well.
They are both somewhere within my house. That is all I know.
Does either have a locator option you could enable once you find it? If I could not wander my home calling out, “Hey Siri, where are you?” a couple times a day, I wouldn’t be able to function.
That’s not a right-now solution, I know, sorry.
I had to change my work password today and 1) the website has a bug where it says it hasn’t actually changed the password because it doesn’t fit the requirements. Apparently this is just a display bug, the password changed just fine. This happened last time I changed my password and they haven’t fixed it. 2) My computer logged me out while I got lunch and now I can’t log in again because it says that my account is locked. When I restarted my computer it says my new password is wrong. I don’t have the IT phone number because I can’t log into my goddamn laptop. 3) This whole thing also happened with the other login for the virtual desktop for the other workplace (stupid contractor shit) and I ALSO CAN’T CONTACT THAT IT BECAUSE I CAN’T LOG IN!
I have my yearly ob/gyn appointment at 4 with a new doctor as my old one retired. Old doctor trained this one and recommended her to me but still. We’ll see how this goes I guess.
This morning we have the final walkthrough for the building’s sale. So I have to somehow simultaneously get the cats into their outdoor playpen (it’s Ass Cold out, BTW) while also running around the apartment and opening all the windows and doors so that the buyer and realtor’s covid exhalations can air out and they don’t have to touch anything, AND being in a meeting about a new project that I know nothing about. Boyfriend’s not home, he’s on his way to his first day at his new job, to pick up his computer and get a brief onboarding.
I’m unsure how to do this myself, as if I open windows before the cats are in the playpen, they will get stuck in the screens (based on past experience) but I also can’t leave them unattended in the playpen as they try and gnaw their way through it if I’m not sitting there watching. Maybe transfer them into carriers first, then open everything, then transfer them to playpen? Unsure how to do all that during a meeting I can’t miss, though.
This is all stupid.
Do it all before the meeting. Get yourself some blankets and the cats a heating pad or rice bag or something to help them stay warm. It sucks, but would likely work.
Someone asked in a company town hall whether there were any contingency plans in place for a possible US civil war.
My anxiety is not doing well today.
Oh my goodness.
Out of curiosity- what was the response?
