Tiny Complaints

20200219_140940 The toe itself is fine, it’s the two circled bones that are broken. All of my toe taping and yelling at my foot to stop hurting has not helped at all. I’m hoping for a boot and not a cast. Apparently I can’t walk on it or do stairs. Oops.

Doh. Uh, is this going to interfere with you getting your house ready for move in? And visiting Habitat for Humanity and such? Cause I feel like it is. Boo.

Does anyone here honestly think I’ll be modifying my activities at all? Do you even know me?
Besides, it’s impossible to live in my house and not do stairs. That’s the whole reason I’m moving.

:<<< POOP. I’m sorry your pretty shoes didn’t fix it. HUGS. I hope they suggest ways to heal that actually match your life.

I’ve found all sorts of way to get up and down stairs by sitting on my butt and kinda scooting up/down as needed. If you have strength to push yourself up or can use the other leg/foot for help even better. It isn’t graceful or fast, but does successfully get me from one level of the house to another as needed.

I’m applying pizza to the problem. It is administered orally and not directly to the injury.

I can walk without pain for the first time in three weeks. I’m unsteady on my feet but it’s still a huge improvement. Thank you, provincial health care system!

I have just made six (6) phone calls in unsuccessful attempt to make a psychiatry appointment. So I can get some medication…for anxiety…about [in part] phone calls. Tomorrow, when my mental health spoons reset, I’ll try again.

I was super productive and all psyched to leave work at 5 but Greyman is in a telecon. So here I wait, hungry and cranky. Then again, maybe I can convince him to get takeout as a result.

I think herbal tea are really high in salicylates which can trigger allergies for people but don’t quote me on that

I’m awake. My backup alarm goes off in 4.5 hours. My body is one that needs 7 hours and prefers 9 hours of sleep and I’m not awake because of fun stuff in bed which would at least improve my quality of sleep!

It’s the same symptoms as my wheat allergy, and the bakery I went to is the type with actual baking and flour everywhere…so I’m leaning towards contamination there. Because the herbal tea and everything else today was at home.
