My shitty roommate spilled 4L of milk all over the counter, floor, and the inside of the fridge. I cleaned up the floor and counter but am leaving the fridge for them. I fully anticipate them doing a shitty job to protest being asked to clean up at all. Maybe I’ll be surprised and they’ll do it properly? A girl can dream.

wow, whoever is doing payroll where he works doesn’t know WTF they are doing. You don’t just stop taking child support! I feel like that company should receive some kind of penalty for stopping a child support order without authorization.
also solidairy, I have not recieved child support since December, he often just leaves jobs and then Child Support has to “find” him before they issue an order so he gets away with a few months of not paying. My daughter is 22, I’m pretty sure I’ll still be collecting when she’s 30 at this point.

New whine: I very, very patiently left my homemade dye in the ends of my hair for five. whole. hours. today. Do I have a nice purple ombre effect? No, I do not. I have the same exact gray hair I had when I started the whole sordid affair.

Jealous of everyone who is done their taxes because I have all my documents (I think, I presume my vanguard forms are waiting for me when I log in) I’m waiting on H’s W-2. Which should also be available but is hard to get him to go access

I know that feeling. Greyman downloads his tax forms like the day before taxes are due. Thank God all his forms were mailed to him this year.

H promises he will download his w-2 tomorrow. He gets differential pay and also productivity bonuses and he doesn’t check his e-pay statement each period to ensure correctness. Even when his former boss was well known to not comprehend that 15 minutes = .25 hours on timesheets when accounting for PTO 
When I had these systems I checked my pay stub every time…
ETA: former boss also was just found to be withholding thousands of bonus pay from her staff. She told them the bonus threshold was WAY higher than it was in reality. I shudder to think what she was doing when H worked for her…

A few months/maybe a year ago I saw & heard Tamino on Tiny Desk Concerts and really liked his/their music as a nice option for a day that needs sad indie music or whatever.
^ I just started to get back into music after a long bout with depression where I couldn’t enjoy it.
Yesterday I noticed that Spotify actually has the studio album so I started listening to it.
Ew. I hate the clean nicely produced over-crisp sound (it really dehydrates the very pretty sadness in his voice) and it seems like they also smoothed over his accent (why).
I hate to sound like a proper dad here, but the live version is so much better.

I went to a folk festival and there was this amazing guy with his guitar. I loved his music. Then I went home and bought his CD and it was overproduced country music for the same songs. I will never have that beautiful experience again.

I’ve had two obnoxious riders in a row. The first guy bugged me to smoke in the car (no), asked me what I would do if he tickled me while I was driving, and then spent 10 minutes telling me how climate change is a hoax and carbon dioxide is good. The second guy informed me that he is “a fucking racist” and I should never visit Cleveland because of all the black people. Can I just go home now?
