We don’t think (yet) that the old boy has dementia - but we have wondered. He doesn’t seemed confused, mostly just bossy.

I mean, I opted into the program by becoming a global entry member. I gave them my fingerprints and everything.

Yeah, we don’t think we have any dementia going on, either. He doesn’t see well, never has, and that’s probably worse. His hearing is still quite good. I think part of it is that he’s used to being the biggest, baddest thing in the woods, and it’s disconcerting to realize he has limitations. Yes, is that smart.

Yeah but like it’s happening so it makes it a hardship for people who are not in compliance (and like a lot of people don’t have passports and maybe they can’t afford them (although the passport card is pretty reasonable I guess)). What if you didn’t have the new card and you needed to fly as an emergency (maybe a parent dies). What happens then? IDK, it feels bad.
Global entry requires facial recognition scans? I did not know this. (I started the process some years ago (before expired passport and when I traveled more, but I never finished the process). Fingerprints, meh, a lot of people have fingerprints on file just from jobs (mine are), so it doesn’t bother me as much. Maybe it should…

Wait. So…Kid-3 just got an Oregon ID card last month, and definitely is under the impression it’s Real ID compliant. Is that not true?

I had a weird dream in which Mr H woke me up at 3am looking for the spare Lovey (Ewok’s comfort toy) because Ewok had “flooded his room” and Lovey was too wet to cuddle. Complaint is that I have just discovered this was not a dream.

The person I’ve been going on some cute dates with is VERY chill and that’s probs good for me in some way, but omg they’re always late, very slow to make plans, etc.

my jaw hurts
my jaw has been hurting since August
the dentist didn’t see anything in xrays
I’ve used up my insurance money (restarts july 1) and so I’d need to pay out of pocket to buy a mouth guard, and there is no guarantee that the pain is from clenching my jaw
