Swap you? Then we can both be happy.

It’s supposed to snow here. For three days. I do not consent.

Kid got blue hair dye on my bathroom scale and nail polish remover isn’t completely cleaning it off.

Electrician came around unannounced to switch our meter to a new one so we can see the time of use of our electricity. I had the dishwasher AND the washing machine going. Ugh. (But yay for new meter!!!)

Another complaint: I can’t decide if hairy legs are appropriate for a wedding. But I don’t want to shave, I like them fluffy. Also I can’t wear stockings. I think I’ll wear a longer dress and distract with a shiny bracelet.

This made me realize I’m gonna have to decide whether to shave my pits for bridesmaiding in bff’s wedding. I have several months to decide though.

The haloumi I’m cooking today is not nearly as delicious as my normal brand.

Yeah. Pits are the pits. I’m not sure what to do about those either. I need to check if my sleeves will cover. I like being fluffy! But a wedding seems to have a higher level of formality than anything else I go to…

Compromise and shave one?

ETA: a few years ago I saw that people were dying their pit hair fun colors - so you could coordinate with the wedding colors!

Someone left poorly sealed, stinky cheese in the work fridge. :face_vomiting:

Today is gorgeous. Sunny and warm and smells like fallen leaves. Tomorrow autumn ends and we will have snow for three days. I need to be outside, enjoying the last day of good weather for 2019. But I’m tired and I hurt.

Why do people leave more following distance in the ducking drive-thru queue than they do while driving 80mph down the interstate?

The law firm that did the separation of XH’s military pension for my divorce just sent me a carbon copy of a heated email confrontation between themselves and XH. He Is demanding that they help him get the order modified to reduce my share; they told him, in essence, that since he is an uncooperative jerk to them, he should find other counsel. I’m sure he will, sooner or later. Five years in, the nightmare continues.

The donation paperwork for the car we just donated is all JUST in mr krmit’s name. Even though both our names were on the title and alphabetically, my last name comes first.

The forecast keeps promising rain. The rain has not arrived.

Try hand sanitizer or, if it doesn’t have a finish that would be adversely affected, Soft Scrub with bleach.

I was working from home this morning, blissfully, with a sleeping cat on my lap for part of it. Noticed the laptop charge was running pretty low. Went to plug it in. Surprise: the charger’s dead! Had to scramble to get my files uploaded before the 9% battery charge became 0%, and came in to work. Bah.

On the plus side, it’s definitely the charger and not the battery refusing to charge any more, which is a thing that can happen.

What kills me is that we have 2 macbook chargers at home, in addition to the work macbook charger. Our macbooks are older, though, and neither of them fit the port of the work mac. In fact, mine and Boyfriend’s also look totally different from one another! So apparently Apple changed the port design/size 3 times in 10 years. Why?

Thanks! I’ll give those a try.

My yeast went out of date 2 years ago. Dammit. I need yeast to make naan!

Are you sure they’re dead? The expiration dates for yeasts are really the “less likely to be alive after” date – but yeasts can hold on for a long time.

Especially if stored in the fridge or freezer. I totally ignore expiration dates. And yeast is incredibly easy to test!
