I’m actually having a really easy pregnancy all things considered. But yeah. I’d love to not be having to make this choice.

I have homebody plans for over the weekend but the Chile & Frijoles festival is this weekend and I want to go but also don’t? I have a lot that I want to get done this weekend that I’m excited to do, but if I spend all of one of the weekend days either driving to Pueblo or at a festival it very well might not get done.

I banked on book club having real food. (It always does up til now- but new member hosted). It did not. Cupcakes and flavored popcorn were the only options. So I ordered chipotle to be delivered. And the rice way super dry and weird 
so I ate way more crap food than I meant to while trying to avoid ordering, then spent money I didn’t want to spend. Grump grump

Got some frames and mats painted for items to be sent to a pregnant sibling (matching requested nursery colors) and found out after I’d done the painting that one of the frames is cracked. It’s repairable, but it would have been a lot less hassle if I’d found the crack before painting, and getting it repaired/repainted is going to push out shipping into next week.

food/diet talk
For the past 2 days my eating has been totally out of control. I overate both days, a LOT, and felt like crap afterwards. I don’t seem to be able to control my portions at all and ate way way way past fullness
My community garden is having a potluck today and I think I am going to skip it because at this point I have no faith in my ability to eat a reasonable amount and then stop.
The trigger seems to be free food. I’m feeling stretched thin moneywise so was unable to resist a spread of delicious unhealthy food that I didn’t have to pay for (this was the case at work on Friday and at a fundraiser I went to yesterday). And that will again be the case at the potluck. So it’s best if I just avoid it. But I was looking forward to it and I’m crabby now. What happened to my self control?

I worked really hard and nothing worked. Something is wrong with the wiring in one room, i dropped a bolt down a heat vent in another, and I pulled something in my back hauling stuff to the garbage. My nails are too long so I cut myself on myself. The tools I needed weren’t in my car, and my rushed lunch was food that makes me sick.
Sigh.

I put a new “never loosens” toilet seat on and accidentally tightened one side before I lined it up properly with the bowl.
It does not loosen. At all. 20 minutes later I gave up and now have a toilet seat that is a good centimeter back off the bowl 
It looks so stupid to me!

I want brownies and wine but I don’t want to open wine unless Greyman want some. Because I will otherwise drink the whole bottle. And it won’t be pretty.

My cold has moved into my chest and I can’t breathe. Every time I have a chest cold I’m convinced that it’s pneumonia. This has been a chest cold for a few hours and I want a chest x ray.
Also I’m covered in bruises.

The sad that ng is that it’s a brilliant design feature - the bolts are adjustable before you lock them down, so that they’ll fit on any brand of toilet. And the directions were very clear to make sure the seat was aligned properly and balanced properly to stay up before the bolts were tightened. It was all me!
