My MIL called me the wrong name forever, think using the wrong vowel in the middle of my name. It wasn’t malicious so I never bothered to try to correct her. I don’t think she could hear the difference.

Yes. There’s a small theatre we go to that has a lot of the same people acting across the various shows, and there are two actresses that we tend to distinguish as correctly-spelled-<kenner> and incorrectly-spelled-<kenner> in discussion.

The AQI is 11. The air is thick with smoke and I can’t see very far because of it. This always feels apocalyptic.

(does Canada have a different AQI system? It’s 111 here today which is a sadly normal state of affairs. On fire days it’s 200-400)

I only learned what 11 means today, I don’t know any systems of measurement at all. But I can only see about 50 feet outside and there is no sun.

I’m getting a free year of mobile from Xfinity and they’re also giving me $100 for bringing my own phone! I’m forfeiting 1.5 months of my Mint Mobile plan but come out way ahead.
But Mint doesn’t make it easy to port out. I’m on chat with them to get my account number and it’s so slow. I bet the agent is juggling several chats at once.

Child has been on a four-day nap strike. It’s very frustrating. This morning we even took an early trip to the ZOO and it didn’t result in a nap. She’s too young for this! I mean, I’ll never be ready for her to drop her nap, but she’s just turned 2 and a half.
