Update, they finally answered on the scope. I can technically still use it during the day, but I have to move out all my stuff that isn’t furniture and they’ll still probably move that around. So now I have one more work day (which happens to be my birthday lol) to move everything into my lab next door and find a new secure place for my fridge/microwave/coffeemaker.

Got to my parents house yesterday with my girls in tow. Great to see my husband again, flight went fairly well. Overnight I developed gastro and I’ve been suffering ever since. The only silver lining is that I’m not solo parenting during this.

This is something I truly don’t understand. When I lived there briefly there was no AC so I really needed to open the window in my room to cool off before bed but the as soon as I turned off the light all I could hear were mosquitoes buzzing around
